However, once I completed that , there were monsters ' craws popping out of the ground and I got killed ! How do I kill or destroy it ? Where do I run to ? Which weapon do I have to use to kill it off ? Yes, I know after that scene , I will have to fight Krauser with my knife !

You cannot skip the waterfall, for earlier you could not open the church doors. By going through the waterfall, you collect an insignia that fits into the church door and opens it.
And after you come out of the church, you can go back in for extra supplies and to kill some more Illuminados

if it says press 1 and 3, that mean press enter and ctrl at the same time, but if it says 5 and 6...im still now sure what those keys are =/ but ihad the same problem too
