The similarity with Barry White's LOVE THEME is so striking that one of the two composers almost had to have "borrowed" it from the other. And since White's version came out a year earlier, it seems as if Trovaioli was the one doing the borrowing. Then again, Trovaioli reused some themes from one score to the next, so maybe there's an earlier version of this in his recorded output? I know for certain he used it again later in 75's "Theme For A Murderer" from "Una Magnum Special per Tony Saitta".
