When you're a criminal, death is a job hazard. Nobody who gets injured while committing a crime should have the "right" to sue anyone, and the family of criminals killed "in the line of duty" have no business filing suit either. You die breaking the law -- too bad.

It happened a few miles from our house. A guy, high on PCP was yelling and pounding on the front door in the middle of the night. The homeowners were a mom and dad with small kids. Well, the dad had a shotgun. He yelled a warning, and when PCP guy came busting through the front door, he blew him right back out. It was self defense. No charges.
