  • where is this a funeral? Ole MIss fans suck

  • I live in Charleston SC, grew up in Mississippi. So root for Ole Miss over USC any day

  • i heard they stopped playing this but ive heard it a couple of games this year, maybe im just mad i dont know

anyways long live dixie, heritage not hate

  • Auburn fan here. You're just not southern if you don't love dixie. The hottest girls on the planet can be found at the grove on game day. I'm looking forward to seeing yall there oct 30.

  • i love it......................

  • Your calling the students at Ole Miss imbred, yet ur accusing others of being racist???

Hmm...imbred sounds a lot like a Southern White STEREOTYPE to me...?

Howd u like it if i came on ur videos and put "all niggers like fried chicken"...yeah i said it, fuck you too, ignorant bitch.

  • TIGER BAIT.

  • why is wrong for them to play dixie? that song has been around for a long time long before the civil war was even fought. you people that say its wrong for them to play dixie make me sick. get a freakin life. if ur going to sit and bitch about that you really fuckin stupid.

  • @caseytrt because people keeep chanting the south will rise again when they play this and personally i dont care but apparantly a lot of ppl do

  • @alexselby97 so what? let them chant.. you know they have the right to freedom of speech..but people who have a negative additude about things like that is the reason why that right is slowly starting to become a thing of the past

  • @alexselby97 let them chant..if you dont like ignore it. you cant tell them to not say what they believe in. you may think its stupid but just let them be..

  • @alexselby97 wrong song buddy, they made the chant during the Battle Hymn of the Republic, not Dixie.

  • @wildbill642 sorry i only heard about it and thats how i found this video i wanted to see the one where they did that....so wrong one

  • Yeah, all the people writing bad comments about ole miss including doughboi... Quit being stereotypic of the people there. Thats just as bad if not worse as being racist. Come on calling us inbreds... way to try to make a valid point about us being racist when your comment was racist and stereotypic towards the people at the school. I forgive you though, people without a brain tend to make a fool of themselves. HOTTY TODDY BABY!

  • @DoughBoi009

Your just as inbred, racist and intolerant as anybody else I've ever met.

  • @DoughBoi009

Good job calling a whole group of 18- 25 +or- year old students inbreds.. you feel better?

  • @DoughBoi009....if only you would close your asinine mouth for good. I'd love to do the honors.

  • They didn't quit playing Dixie, they quit playing the PC perversion called From Dixie With Love, which blends the anti-South, blasphemous "Battle Hymn of The Republic" with the real Dixie. OM came up with the FDWL arrangement in the 1980s as a way to move OM away from the real Dixie. It is strange irony that the PC replacement song is now history, while the real Dixie remains, although they don't play it as much as they used to. Y'all should really work on your OM history, too much ignorance.

  • I know... I went to a Ole Miss Game about two weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I heard Dixie!

  • I just found out that Ole Miss has now banned Dixie being played. My daughter is a student at Ole Miss and we came down once each year to see her and especially to hear Dixie played in public. It is a shame that the Dean at Ole Miss is such a coward. He, like everybody else bows on bended knee to the politically correct crowd. At least Ole MIss held out this long. We in Virginia were made to stop playing Dixie in high school in 1966.

  • As we used to say at The Citadel.. "Let them play Dixie"

  • What does that mean?

  • They made The Citadel band stop playing Dixie a little over a decade ago. You know, The Citadel...where the people who shot the first two shots in the war of northern aggression went to school

  • Go Cocks! Hope the rebel band comes to Columbia this year, though, so we can hear Dixie.

  • Greetings for James Madison University. Good luck next season Rebs

  • Greetings From NCSU Wolfpack good luck next season Rebs

  • I almost wanted to switch sides. just for a second. greetings from Gamecock Country.

  • So did I man, I'm also a Gamecock fan, but I haven't liked Steve Spurrier since his "take the damn flag down" comment...he should stick with coaching football and out of State politics, maybe if he did we'd beat Clemson every year instead of vice-versa!

Maybe there's hope this season though, I hope so. Plus credits of Ole Miss for having courage to play the beautiful notes of Dixie! That's true class!

  • damn right!

    /watch?v=-xORNqzEFY4

  • Not only is Ole Miss the only band to play this, they are the only band to play it correctly, as it should be played!

  • we play this, check my vid... its not as fast but yea

  • What section is this?
