There may have been sproradic exections of muslims who were found carrying arms or were in uniforms as they were identified as those who were pillaging and murdering serbian civilians around srebrenica that the time! there was no command order from the top to kill those prisoners! I believe that the ICTY is flawed especially with their prosecution of Milosevic. However, it is obvious that crimes were committed and an order was given to kill the men in Srebrenica. It seems incredibly unlikely to me that karadzic would give this order which only leaves Mladic.

@Dejo1118 Get your facts straight. Don't believe everything you see on YouTube. Study the facts: forensic evidence, other evidence and witness reports, official documents from all sides, UN doc. Those killed in and around Srebrenica in 1995 were mostly civilians, some were prisoners of war. Oric didn't flee Srebrenica, he was called to Sarajevo to meet the Bosnian leadership. He was flown by UN-helicopter, but couldn't get back because a helicopter crash, so UN suspended all flights to Srebr.

No one said that Serbs were anything else but orthodox christians.Also, today's Bosnians were not Serbs.You see,through the course of history, the people in today's Bosnia have grown to be their own nation.It started in the middle ages when an independece from the Croatian kingdom was achieved.Later there were many orthodox converting to Islam,but most were already then catholic Bosnians.

@Dejo1118 All EX-YU (almost) was part of the Byzantine Empire. Hungarian kingdom in the Middle Ages took control over Croatia and today's Bosnia. The authorities in Bosnia (then not a state) fought with the Hungarians against the Byzantines. Bosnia appeard in late 1100's; Catholicism was the religion, but it was not "pure" and Bosnians were accused of heresy. Many Serbs converted to Islam, but it was mostly the "old" Bosnians. 1st modern Croatia appeared in WW2, but it was an ancient kingdom.

The people in Bosnia gradually accepted Islam over the course of the first decades of the occupation, generation after generation it spread.But Bosnian Muslims today are not Turks and they never were. They accepted their religion so they could be the ruling class in Bosnia. But they were not Turks, but Bosnians. Simple? Montenegro did a great job liberating themselves in the 17th century.

WW2 happened, and those responsible for Jasenovac, Gradiska, etc, had been punished (Croats and Muslims, Bleiburg etc.), while gen. Mihajlovic was punished for his co-operation with the nazis and murders of innocent civilians. WW2 ended 1945.

Mladic will be remembered for what happened after the busses went away. He was very clever in lying those people who did not want to believe what they feared was about to happen. Ask the 8300 healthy men who were murdered after the busses were gone , and they will tell you that yes the busses of women,children and sick and old men were safe, but there was no safety for them. The survivors were in fact gravely harmed by the mass murder that followed. Tell the whole story not part of it.

I've seen plently of false and bad claims said about him in the news such as: ''Butcher of Bosnia'', but the real truth is that he was simply protecting the Serbian people and just wanted to co-operate fairly with the Bosniaks.

If it were my own brother who killed an innocent person, he wouldn't be a human in my eyes, he would only be a monster, a criminal, a murderer who must be indicted for his crimes. The term genocide is not that important when speakning about Srebrenica. The fact is that thousands of people were murdered, mostly civilians, not only men. Every crime is horrible. To me Serb victims are equally tragic. I don't hate. Do you?

They had 5500 people with arms under oric and he still fled Srebrenica months before the attack.
It was a big game from america and alija izetbegovic who started the war in bosnia.

@Dejo1118 Get your facts straight. Don't believe everything you see on YouTube. Study the facts: forensic evidence, other evidence and witness reports, official documents from all sides, UN doc. Those killed in and around Srebrenica in 1995 were mostly civilians, some were prisoners of war. Oric didn't flee Srebrenica, he was called to Sarajevo to meet the Bosnian leadership. He was flown by UN-helicopter, but couldn't get back because a helicopter crash, so UN suspended all flights to Srebr.

There are idiots that use jihad as a "holy war", but that is not really Islam, but a sick interpretation. Personally I couldn't care less about religion. I am an atheist. But at least I am smart enough to know that one doesn't need to be chetnik to be a Serb,and one doesn't need to be a muslim to be Bosnian. Peace matters.

No one said that Serbs were anything else but orthodox christians.Also, today's Bosnians were not Serbs.You see,through the course of history, the people in today's Bosnia have grown to be their own nation.It started in the middle ages when an independece from the Croatian kingdom was achieved.Later there were many orthodox converting to Islam,but most were already then catholic Bosnians.

@Dejo1118 All EX-YU (almost) was part of the Byzantine Empire. Hungarian kingdom in the Middle Ages took control over Croatia and today's Bosnia. The authorities in Bosnia (then not a state) fought with the Hungarians against the Byzantines. Bosnia appeard in late 1100's; Catholicism was the religion, but it was not "pure" and Bosnians were accused of heresy. Many Serbs converted to Islam, but it was mostly the "old" Bosnians. 1st modern Croatia appeared in WW2, but it was an ancient kingdom.

The people in Bosnia gradually accepted Islam over the course of the first decades of the occupation, generation after generation it spread.But Bosnian Muslims today are not Turks and they never were. They accepted their religion so they could be the ruling class in Bosnia. But they were not Turks, but Bosnians. Simple? Montenegro did a great job liberating themselves in the 17th century.

@Dejo1118 Yes, NATO bombed Serbia and Montenegro (Yugoslavia died 1991), because of Milosevic. Still, it wasn't right to do it, but what's done is done. WW2 happened, and those responsible for Jasenovac, Gradiska, etc, had been punished (Croats and Muslims, Bleiburg etc.), while gen. Mihajlovic was punished for his co-operation with the nazis and murders of innocent civilians. WW2 ended 1945.
Oric was no angel, but you don't seem to know how many women and children the Serb army killed 92-95..

This I know for sure because if somebody did some killings of innocent people he'll be punished.
There is a BIG differance in beeing killed by a bullit or by a cold wepon.
Beeing cut in peaces like they did to us or just beeing shot down like we did is not the same.

Mladic will be remembered for what happened after the busses went away. He was very clever in lying those people who did not want to believe what they feared was about to happen. Ask the 8300 healthy men who were murdered after the busses were gone , and they will tell you that yes the busses of women,children and sick and old men were safe, but there was no safety for them. The survivors were in fact gravely harmed by the mass murder that followed. Tell the whole story not part of it.
