HOLD ON! the only game where there we virtually no gorey fatalities was Mk Vs DC Universe... it had little blood splats and SOME satisfying Fatalities.... but really... Kano is the icon of MK who rips hearts out... in that game, he just jumps on you like a fucking ballerina... the game may have fatalities.. but in the worst, dumbed down way possible

That was probably what he was talking about that preceded the Tiger Electronics joke. MK vs. DCU was a GREAT game. Yes, the whole "Heroic Brutality" thing can be weird, and even mockable at times (Being shattered as an ice statue is killable as Sub-Zero, but not Superman? PLUS, he double stomps on you from 50 feet in the air at Mark 4 speeds, and you STILL don't die.) I get why it is, but it's funny to me. But, despite that whole thing, MK vs. DCU was a pretty awesome game.

I think his complaint about "long range attacks" refers to the fact that the range of most of Kratos' blade attacks is, in fact, much shorter than in the games. Of course, this is still a stupid complaint because if his regular attacks had that kind of reach in Mortal Kombat, he'd be completely broken. Of course, between this and his MVC3 "review", I'd say we've established that Bores doesn't know jack about character balance in fighting games.

He fails to mention that gameplay wise, it was a huge improvement over the 3D ones, mainly Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon. Those three games were really clunky and slow compared to this one.
