People are probably very offended by this book, but the thing is, his admittedly and obviously fictional portrayal of Jesus Christ is less offensive than those that have created a fictional Jesus and passed the caricature off as the real deal. I'm thinking of the Inquisition, the American Dream greed-mongerers, the child molesters, etc. Kirkman, though mocking God, is not encouraging people to worship this character he made up.

Personally, I think the best comics are the ones that go "Out There" and I mean OUT THERE!! Because it shows just how imaginative the writer and artist really are. This comic just illustrates that point
