Scripting as you call it is really packet editing. And what you saw in the beginning was neither. It was programming, a programmer named G3 wrote an app that emulated towns client and gave him control. Secondly the lawsuit was a scare tactic by gaia, they don't have legal ground to sue. Basically this was a "LOL THIS WILL SCARE THEM AND THEY'LL TELL ALL THERE FRIENDS SO EVERYONE WILL BE TOO SCARED TO DO ANYTHING". It was legally unfounded.
Yeah I don't mind if it was actually funny stuff, like the water balloons people used to do, but shit like "Your account is being hacked" isn't really that funny.
I'm a scripter.. the good kind. the only thing I do Is hump random noobs and teleport :c
