amazing video, here in italy we have hunters that kills everything they can, they are a big lobby and usually give their vote to mr Berlusconi for their purpose despite the european law that protect and discipline some species for example Robin or blackbird or even migrators such as Hawfinch...watch this video is terrific..in the north of italy 110 hunters keep killing migrators ..this is allowed by the "partei" Lega Nord because they are a bunch of ignorant destroyers with norespect fornature

@cybagooseuk thank you. usually you can't get very close to wildbirds and these robins. but the birds in this public garden where i sometimes go to seem to be used to the people walking by and feeding them. on this day it was very cold, and it was quite early in the morning, no people around. the robin was sitting there for some time and I had some bird food in my pocket. but as you can see in the video it was observing while eating. no wonder, in one hand the food, and in the other my cam :-)

So schön!! Ich weiß wie schwer es ist, einem frei lebenden Vogel die Angst zu nehmen. Bei meinen Meisen war es vergleichsweise noch recht einfach. Das hat nur eine Woche gedauert, bis sie aus der Hand gefressen haben. Aber Rotkehlchen sind unglaublich scheu und normalerweise gar nicht zutraulich. Bis jetzt habe ich meine Meisen auch noch lange nicht so weit, dass sie ruhig auf der Hand sitzen. Tolles Video!

you have to gain the trust of those birds, animals don't trust humans that often ( and for a good reason !) you need to gain their trust. i can hand feed wild goose and ducks, and maybe another bird which visits us daily , i'm working on it. i will never ever in my life hurt an animal, so i can be trusted. animals sometimes feel who they can trust

Sehr schöne Aufnahme von diesem zutraulichen Rotkehlchen. Ich habe noch diverse gute Aufnahmen von Singvögeln vom Kleiber bis zum Kernbeißer, Meisenarten etc., aber so zahme Vögel sah ich noch nie. Das Futter, viel Liebe zu den kleinen Sängern und viel Geduld machen es möglich.......

Ich sah dieses Rotkehlchen in einem botanischen Garten, wo es auch noch viele andere Vogelarten hat. Man trifft oft ältere Leute an, die den Vögeln immer wieder Vogelfutter mitbringen. Die Vögel haben sich so an die Menschen gewöhnt und man kann sich Ihnen gut nähern und sie beobachten.

Ganz erstaunlich - "unser" Rotkehlchen ist äußerst scheu und kommt meistens nur dann zum Futtern, wenn die anderen Vögel weg sind, nimmt ein Körnchen und dann schnell wieder ab ins Gebüsch... Tolle Aufnahme!

Danke. Ich habe hier im Garten mehre Futterstellen für die Vögel aufgestellt, da der Futterneid ja leider sehr schnell vorkommt. Auch hier kann ich die Meisen, Sperlinge, Grünfinken, Distelfinken und Co. schön beobachten. Aber nirgends so nahe wie in dem Park, wo sie sich noch mehr an die Fütterung und die Menschen gewöhnt haben.
