  • FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!

  • Not giving a single fuck - this is why I love LTJ.

  • best album ever

  • needless guilt anyone??

  • such an underrated band kind of annoying this band needs more recognition they are the best at what they do!!!!!!!!! LOVE LESS THEN JAKE i was in love when i first heard them long live ska and punk and reggae!

  • THAT SAME OLD CROWD THAT DRAGS ME DOWN!!!!!! oh my god i fucking love less jake

  • First wave ska : 50's. Reggae: 60's. Second wave ska : late 70's. Third wave ska: Now.

  • idk if I would call them all out ska since when people start a ska pit in jersey at a ltj concert everyone gives them the death stare I would say a punk band with a ska flow lol if you listen to the living end I call that ska

  • awsome :D

  • Just getting high and watching time fly

  • This is fucking eargasm! >:D

  • Ska: 50s, Reggae: 60s, Punk: 70s, and then subgenres.

  • like is jeremy from ADTR brought u here

  • @9novak4 Fuck ADTR, fag.

  • @TimmyJimmy118 oh no u sure ruined my day.

  • Who cares what came first Ska or Reggae. Good tunes are good tunes.

  • Ska came before reggae. but of course, it didnt sound like this.

  • I looked them up today because I saw them on the Warped Tour set-list for OR.. I knew who they were..just never listened to them. Now I luhh them!:DD

  • @SchizoBrinaScreams I've been listening to these guys since before you were born. Been a fan since 1996!

  • @ZakkandtheJ ....I was born in 92.... So no.. I was about 4..

  • @SchizoBrinaScreams Well judging by the fact you hadn't heard of them until this year I thought you were like 10 loll

  • @ZakkandtheJ Can you not read..?? Lol. I have heard of them, jut never really payed much attention to them.

  • @SchizoBrinaScreams *Heard them. LOL I was born in 1994 and been listening to these guys since the very start.

  • @ZakkandtheJ Hah, I'm not a huge fan of ska, so eh, I was iffy of checking them out.

But I gave every band on the stage list a chance. This is the first ska-ish band I've ever gotten into.

  • @SchizoBrinaScreams Let me tell you this much, music just doesn't sound as good with out a horn section.

  • @ZakkandtheJ Lol, well it's really all about opinion.(:

  • this is funny last time i watched this it never had 328000 views. didnt even know that many people new who less than jake are

  • @iRJRx 100,000 of them are mine from my less then jake playlist...

  • MAN i love this song!!

I'd like to dedicate this song to the boring ass city I grew up in!

  • Florida bands are KICK-ASS...and so is Less Than Jake!

  • Try living in a village....

  • this song is my fucking theme song!

i live in Santee CA, if you've been ther you know what i'm talking about. i fucking love this song, cuz i feel the exact same thing!

  • can you guys shut the fuck up about ska music, personally i love this band but every time i ever wanna just listen to them all i see is just bullshit about ska.

  • @oNorthernlights420 perhaps because they are Ska?

  • @ZakkandtheJ well way to state the obvious...

  • @oNorthernlights420 I enjoy stating the obvious, it fucks with people's brains because people think I'm witty.

  • if you wanna know about ska then listen to The Specials or Madness or Bad Manners!

LTJ are aweosme though btw.. ska-punk is just too fucking aweosme!

  • well actually the egg came first because Birds evolved from Dinosaurs which layed eggs...oh wait, we're talking about Raggae and Ska. my bad.

  • @sarvelaj u fuckin BOSS

  • ska punk is the best

  • I always thought reggae came first...

  • I honestly don't think there should be anything's called "Genre's"... it should be classified as good music and bad music!! Muuuuuuch Easier isn't it? =D

  • @StevenBoBeven1 But way less fun to "us" music elitists who like to show off our superior knowledge of music by insulting people who can't differentiate between genre's!

  • @StevenBoBeven1 less than jake lo mejor

  • @StevenBoBeven1 then subjectivity walks in the room and says fuck your idea.

  • @StevenBoBeven1 no such thing as bad music.

  • @klose152 Ke$ha says otherwise.

  • There are no genres! they are a LIE!

  • some people call it ska punk. but really its just the 3rd wave of ska. Pretty much the ska of the 90s. It includes bands like Reel Big Fish, Sublime(sometimes), Less Than Jake. And alot of other bands. But really who cares? Ska is more of a lifestyle than a genre since the genre is so vast.

  • This song describes my life here... fuck you huntsville. I think ironically this song is getting me into LTJ even though I heard all my friends are metalheads wayy before. Even funnier is when I was into numetal I saw Korn on the Projekt Revolution tour in 02 and LTJ were the most energetic band on stage, it was fun. "There must be dildos in the seats." "Hey, this is a fucking family tour, don't curse motherfucker." The comments from the band were amusing too.

  • Great song. :)

  • i just consider ska to be energetic calm but still headbangingly good music that almost always incorporates horns

  • Who gives a fuck about what genre they are. You guys are making such a big deal out of what genre they are. Trying to act smart by copying everything on Google. Just listen to the damn music.

  • i thought this was Ska punk

  • no more online poker? my town just got a lot more boring.

  • this song is about my town im honored

  • honestly we should just rip out the thumbs down button if they have a problem they can say it to our faces!

  • @zora1link every time i try to leave a negative comment, people tell me i shouldn't comment and should just use the thumbs down button.

  • @winggoddess Yeah well what do you have negative to say about this video?

say it cause there's nothing wrong with this song what the hell is your problem with it?

  • @zora1link i don't have anything negative to say about this video. if i did, i would've already said it. but your comment just proved my point that if i merely express my honest dislike for a youtube video, people respond with rudeness. people are entitled to their opinions and free to leave negative comments if they wish.

  • @winggoddess okay? whatever lol i don't give a shit people who go around bitching negative comments are so stupid they need to get a life....

  • @zora1link and they don't give a "shit" about your opinion either. just because someone has different taste than you doesn't make them stupid, and it doesn't mean they don't have a life either. stop being biased. learn to be tolerant of opinions other than your own. get over yourself.

  • i kneed myslef in the face and got a nosebleed while skanking to this song <3

  • oh~oh~oh~♪

  • makes me want to get up and scank

  • ska formed reggae, this is ska-punk, pretty simple really so shush :D

  • i think you guys will find that ska was developed in the 1950's, and reggae was first coined in the 1960's. everyone thinks that reggae came from jamaica, when actually, Ska was first played in jamaica, and then later on reggae was formed in the USA and Africa.

  • This song should be the anthem of my town...everytime im driving around bored i listen to this song haha

  • Saw these guys in Melbourne 2 days ago at Soundwave it was so so so amazing!!!!!

  • ska orginated from reggae.

    so reggae came first.

but ska is so much beter(:

  • @sinorsexyypants Reggae came from ska.

  • @kotwicki90 yes i know "originated" means came from and what i said was it originated from reggae.

  • @kotwicki90 yes i know "originated" means came from and what i said was it originated from reggae.

  • @kotwicki90 u got it twisted reggae was round b4 ska

  • For the people unsure about whether Ska or Reggae came first, even a skim of the first page after searching "what came first, reggae or ska?" in Google should put suspicions to rest.

  • @Joelisonfire all that matters is that they make a great combo!!

  • @Joelisonfire music came first lol but yea ska came first

  • @Joelisonfire it was some weird dub stylee stuff lol. both are epic though. punk/ska is the best in my opinion though

  • ?i thought ska was more to do with the meeting of black and white cultures in london during the 70s and 80s than actually being from jamaica? reggae and dub were brought over to the uk by emigrating families and people, and ska was the result of the two clutures coming together.

  • This title of this song really describes the town I live in... I dont like the town I live in that much.

  • @Jailchiken7 join the club

  • @Jailchiken7 Ya? ever heard of Paris Tennessee? I thought not

  • @metaljunkie98 Ya? I lived there through highschool! xP

  • story of my life right here!!!

  • this my friend, is SKUNK MUSIC! (ska and punk)

  • LTJ ALL THE WAY NIGGA

  • ska is reggae met een eigen draai eraan geven!

NEDERLAND LUISTERD LESS THAN JAKE!!! :D

  • If I'm not mistaken, this is 3rd generation Ska. It is a mixture of 2nd generation and American Punk. Something like that anyway. It has roots in reggae.

  • If I'm not mistaken, this is 3rd generation Ska. It is a mixture of 2nd generation and American Punk. Something like that anyway. It has roots in raggae.

  • thx for telling me about ska, makes a lot more sense now lol =P

  • This is now my official soundtrack to my teenage years :V

  • @Talmononn you actually annoy me greatly. do you really care that much you need to correct people? i mean seriously stfu and enjoy the music

  • sorry if i sound stupid but what exactly is ska music? btw awesome band

  • Its more classic sounding than this stuff and is a bit more like reggae. a great ska band to look up would be the specials

  • @HadesLordofDeath If I'm not mistaken, it formed in the 50's from Jamaica and was the genre that spawned Reggae (essentially a slower-tempo'd offroot of Ska) - basically really good upbeat, laid-back music, the less aggressive, and more bouncier side of LTJ. Westbound Train are a good modern band to look up.

  • @Joelisonfire I think Reggae was formed many years before :) but your right apart from that :D lol

  • @Joelisonfire i think reggae came before ska but i cant be sure

  • @Joelisonfire Great explanation

  • @Joelisonfire Sorry if people have already responded to your comment with this, but Reggae came first and Ska was actually the off-shoot.

  • @Joelisonfire lol westbound train blows.

  • @HadesLordofDeath There was three waves of ska and personally two tone being the best : )

  • @HadesLordofDeath sounds to me like a combination between punk and jazz. doesn't sound like reggae at all to me.

  • @HadesLordofDeath mixture of jazz and rock and such. put it together you hace an orgasim in your ear

  • @HadesLordofDeath ok imagine sex.... then ska is sex but with an orgasm

  • @HadesLordofDeath I know this comment was from 7 months ago but ska is pretty much punk with horns

  • @wagsHD You don't listen to much ska do you? o.O

  • @dismo77 not really i like less than jake streetlight manifesto and reel big fish can u give me some good ska songs and the last comment was stupid that was my first impression i just saw less than jake in concert 2 days ago they were amazing i got all there signitures on a sombrero

  • @wagsHD the mighty mighty bosstones, big d and the kids table, toots and maytals, the specials, the slackers, catch 22, desmond decker, the skatalites, the heptones, the aggrolites, the aquabats, laurel aitken, all I can think of off the top of my head

  • saw them live last night, was brilliant when this song came on and the chorus kicked in everybody was buzzing

  • kinda reminds me of my town

  • i live in a super boring town but this song makes me feel like Im living in LA or whatevers not boring :pppp

  • @pittstonjoma Haha Pittstion isn't as boring at Factoryville! Lackawanna Trail?

  • fuck yeah port charlotte sucks i live there too yay for the 941

  • tarandacuao jaja

  • Guys, I'm not trying to annoy anybody, but this isn't actual ska; it's ska-punk. It's 50% ska and 50% punk; a genre which was pretty popular in the late 90's (I think)... But don't get me wrong; they're awesome! =D

  • @Talmanonn well ofcourse, thats like saying the foo fighters arent rock n roll theryre hard rock n roll cuz theyre not like the stones or johny cash, cuz people change over time. u dont need to get specific if its not an argument about difernt styles of music. yes they are not skinheads but they like the music. just wanted to say that nothing against u

  • @Talmanonn I think the same thing everytime I hear this called Ska, but it's just easier to call this Ska.

  • @Talmanonn you are right, and although i dont mean to sound almighty, i went to high school with 3 of the members of the band and their sound is exaclty what they were trying for and exactly what you got from it, very cool mixture if u ask me!

  • @Talmanonn Well actually the I think it's considered ska because now the term is used to describe a genre which has a upbeat sound with a horn section. A while back it may have been different but times have changed.

  • @Talmanonn i always had the impression that ska was a mix of punk and reggae : /

  • @Talmanonn yu are correct my friend. ska was originated in jamaica in the 1950s.

  • @Talmanonn oh i see. what would u say is a good example of pure ska?

  • @winggoddess Well there's 3 waves of ska: First wave ska is jamaican ska, bands like I think The Skatalites are one of those bands (not too sure, not that clued up on first wave), Second wave ska (also known as two-tone revival) is when white people started doing ska, bands like The Specials, and finally, Third wave ska (also know as Ska-Punk) is when people started pushing ska to its limits, mixing it with Punk Rock, bands like Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Ska-P, etc. =]

  • @BIBmusic hahas :) I personally like RBF better, I was just asking for another opinion =P and yay, Why Do They Rock So Hard IS my favourite album, out of everything! Thanks for your reply. :)

  • It seems as if i'm the last one standing in The Netherlands who really has some special feelings listening to this song! :) It really makes me think back on those days when life wasn't as complicated as it is right now.... I mean, these days i've got my own family to support, responsible job etcetera..... these kind of tracks make me look back at my puberty as if those days were the best days of my life! Less Than Jake's wallpapers never left my wall in about 15 years, they're an inspiration!

  • @kaboestabeer The only one in the Netherlands ;)... Just wait till the concert in november, I can assure you you wont be the only one there!

They did that to me, too. :/

  • Incredible.. pre 9-11 music.. I was a teenager, as soon as these nixonian republicans took over it was over. Days that never will come back

  • @LaraAnguizola I never arranged my music as Pre 9-11 music and Post 9-11 music. That is very interesting.

  • Ska music = the secret to happiness. probably my favorite ltj song, this or automatic.

  • @BIBmusic what do you think is better, ltj or rbf? :D

  • @lizpopp personally I like less than jake better, but their both awesome, especially back in the day. i just llike the way the two vocalists sound together, plus i like ltj horns better.. but check out Why Do They Rock So Hard, that album is probably RBFs best!

  • @BIBmusic AUTOMATIC <3

  • i cant stay in a place for even a year before i get bored there, i need to keep on the move but have no money for this, life sux because of the money factor damn green paper the paper was probably used to wipe the fed reserve heads asses before they were sent out, which is y they r green

  • @GIANTPANCAKES i couldnt agree with you anymore, im exactly the same dude

  • i caught a ltj shirt at one of there shows. i tied to to my belt and someone stole it when i was crowd surfing

  • you all loose for giving bad advice never get a squier they suck ass more then a fender they go out of tune every 5 minutes for a beginner it will destroy there musical ear they will get used to hearing out of tune very bad get an ibanez there just as cheap in price but a ten times better guitar

  • @th3r4nd0m3m0k1d couldnt agree more

  • puberties for loosers! ;)

  • Check out all your local pawn shops. I went down to one the othe day and found a hella beat up American stratocaster with amazing humbucker pickups (it was custom made) but since it was so physically beat up it was like 60 bucks! I was thinking about refurbishing it but I decided to keep it the way it is

  • LOVE this song. story of my life. Then I moved to the greatest place for ska/punk <3 <3 <3

  • You're a begineer?

    Buy a squier.

    Getting better?

    Buy a better guitar

  • I'm playing with acoustic guitar, but i want to buy Bass or Eletric guitar soon. Which one should I get?

  • What's your budget?
