Lol, the Hellcat only had 32mm of armor, what effectiviness? Sure it had a poweful gun, but it could be easily destroyed even with the Pak 38 the germans had.

The Flak 88 is a Flugabwehrkanone which means its an anti aircraft gun.
It could be used as an anti tank weapon but it wasnt one

Tank destroyers don't fight tanks head on. They try to outrun or flank behind them. They need speed more than they need armor.

@Sumwun22 I know but still armor is important; thats why german tank destroyers outnumbered american tank destroyers in effectiviness.
