This documentary is sososososo Impressive.

And the soundtrack is amazing. And then I saw Kenji Kawai in credits, no wonder it's amazing then. I love his works in Fate/Stay Night, and the I love the most there is La Sola, so heart-wrenched.

Great Composing...listening to this will make you feel the fear...desperation...rage and sadness...in short...glimpse of the WWII composed in to a song!!

@PhEnOmEnAlDuSk : Yes i agree with you, the soundtrack from this documentary is very,very special, all 6 episodes are top quality and this soundtrack makes it even better to perceive in some way how were those times, living day by day with the fear that one day a bomb could fall over your home, thats only one example, the are too many other examples. I think from my point of view its one of the best documentary WW2 with the rival of The World at War a 26 british series from 1973.

@PhEnOmEnAlDuSk : I don't know if it is a direct rival to Apocalypse, World at War is black n white ,this one is coloures, that one deepens a bit those times, there are some episodes a lil boring, but they are others interesting and terrifying for example Episode 20: Genocide, it contains "strong images" and an awesome ending, the last episode, 26, it presents an french town at the beggining of the episode who after 30 years is still deserted, no one lived there.
