  • I miss you Perry Como even though you were before my time.

  • I loved Perry Como since I was little, my dad used to play it for me when I would get scared. I slept all night to this.... c:

  • They played this at my only Aunty's funeral...I also remember it being my Mum's favourtie song when I was a child. Always makes me cry and has now imprinted itself on my heart as belonging to 2 people I love and adore, my Aunty and my precious Mum xx

  • I met Mr Como working at the pharmacy at Walgreens. He came disguised with a hat and dark glassess. Now, as soon as he walked in I said in a very excited tone: Hi Mr. Como...he put his finger on his mouth to please be quite. He was so cute. He signed his meds and I was so excited I forgot to ask him for an autograph...:(

  • Maravilhoso, voz suave, clara e inconfudivel, Perry Como, adorado no Brasil, sucesso estrondoso com Caterine, saudades , de astro desta estipe. que falta..

  • Who are the people who dislike this song ? Such a beautiful song with the most heavenly words and Perry Como singing like an angel. Made me cry as did some of the comments.

  • What was cool about AM radio back then was that the same time Perry Como was on the charts, Alice Cooper, Donny Osmond, Edgar Winter Group, Elvis, Carly Simon, Barry White, Dr. John and the Ohio Players were also playing on the same radio stations. You'd never in a million years hear a playlist like that on radio ever again. I miss those days.

  • My dad loved Deano,Perry and Sinatra, dad I have so much to thank you for with the memories wrapped up in these songs!

  • Such a beautiful song, beautifully sung. He will never be replaced.

  • For some reason this makes me cry. :(

  • @davidmayne hi david, this song has a very special place in my heart and hearing it from no other than perry como himself makes it doubly special.

  • I don't need any other version! He owns this song.

I'll always remember driving in the car with my dad when I was a kid and this song came on the radio about 25 years ago. Loved it then as I still do today.

  • One of the sweetest voices i have ever heard.

  • te amo perry como!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is one of my all time favorites. The singers of the 60s have made beautifal memories for me--in so many different ways.

  • One of the most beautiful voices ever and a lovely song.

  • how can you not like this song, maybe the dislikes are too young to understand, but they will in the years to come.

  • @Dandelion04 There are likely a lot of immature trolls online who want to disagree on many different things. It's usually easy to spot them--they disrupt conversations, and get really agressive, mocking the good people who genuinely like something.

  • "It wasn't my kind of music. Perry Como was my kind of music.. (chuckle)"

-Geddy Lee's mom.. and as a rabid Rush fan.. this is pretty amusing to listen to.

  • IF YOU LIKE PERRY COMO, YOU MAY LIKE ME! I'm a new acoustic artist with an old style. I hope you check me out and drop me a line sometime. I'd love to hear from you, thanks!

  • This is also my all time favorite song.

  • bravo bravissimo!!!

  • My most favorite song in the world!

  • If this guy doesn't "have it all", then who does?

  • @broadwayFan28 He is excellent as is this song and others of Perry.. but I think Andy Williams was better...

  • @irish89055 When I say he "has it all" I mean the talent, the producers of his shows and records, love from the fans and most of all, his family. He made sure that his performances included his family.

I agree, you could say the same about Andy. He "has it all too".

  • Depressing

  • He has a good and sweet voice. This song carries me back to the old days

  • Yes I do agree about the singer my mom loved him specilly this song just have to listen to the words and she would remember her husband

  • What a song and what a hell of a singer..........

  • Oh my! The music of the 50's-thank God for You Tube.

  • The Pride of Western Pennsylvania !

  • The words are beautiful to this song, always give me goose bumps, one of the best songs that Perry Como ever sung, but there are so many to choose from and we are so lucky to be able to play them over and over again

  • TODO TIEMPO PASADO FUE MEJOR!

  • I love this song so much, but its hard for me to listen to it now. • @buntybaybee hey no problem, it was good hearing from you! I am glad you are talking, but yes, still 3000 miles away. • @Juliaflo oh my god, you mean he is dead? Why didn't I know that? I loved him....I have to mourn now, 10 years too late:(((

  • @electra430 That's right. He passed away sometime around or before his 89th birthday. A great loss to the entertainment world, if ever there was one.

  • @Juliaflo Thamks so much. Some fan I am! I loved him to death but I gues I didn't know much about him. I didn't realize he got to live that long. It sure was a great loss to the entertainment world. You sure are knowledgable:) Thanks again.

  • @Juliaflo Thanks so much. Some fan I am! I loved him to death but I gues I didn't know much about him. I didn't realize he got to live that long. It sure was a great loss to the entertainment world. You sure are knowledgable:) Thanks again.

  • @26greenrose

It's not even his song. Don McLean's orgional is much better, i don't care what anyone says.

  • Perry can bring tears to your eyes when he sang. This song is sad in the sense of when he says he knows how lonely life can be....so true...but then he finds love...which is joy and tears of joy...goes to your very soul. I remember my mom watching Perry and I did too..that voice just draws you to him...He was such a gentle man. Like Frank Sinatra once said is "How could anyone ever get mad athis guy" He is so calm, gentle and smooth. What you see is what you got. .Heaven must love you!

  • no one sings this song better than mr como love listening to his voice brings back loveley memories of my dad who also adored perry xx

  • It doesn't get much better then this...

  • I always hated this stuff when I was a kid, but Dad played the record over and over. I considered it a personal victory when, within the last decade of his life, I got Dad into Eric Clapton and The Beatles. I even managed to get him to listen to a little Led Zeppelin (with reservations). I thought I had finally improved his taste in music.

Only now, about a year since his death, do I realize he had great taste all along.

  • @PeterVesuwalla what a loveley story it made me think of my dad who is no longer with us sadly he died 14 yrs ago he loved music bot perry como was his favourite by far i come from a family of 7 and we all like perry como as he reminds us of our dad xx

  • For my beautiful wife JoAnn, I love you more everyday.

  • Oh I know. The girl that throws up her arms in your FGOML video works in my building. She had on your t-shirt so I talked to her. I told her we went out before you were famous & she thought that was really cool. She told me she was in the video. Miss you.

  • This is a beautiful melody sung wonderfully by Mr.Como. And I Love You So was written by Don McLean, as some of you may know. what I didn't myself know, is that another great song from that era has ties to McLean. Lori Leiberman, a folk singer, wrote a poem about a concert she had seen and how moved she was by the artist. That poem became the inspiration for the lyrics to Killing me Softly, which became a hit 2 years later for Roberta Flack. The concert that Leiberman wrote about...Don McLean!

  • Thank you, for this nice song....

  • @fherrie04 I feel for U in the loss of your father. Cherish all the memories U can. I losed my father last feb. 22,2010. And I use to listen to alot of Perry Como w/my dad back in the days when we lived in Venezuela. My dad was in the oil business back in the good ole days of the 70's-80. Now our fathers have Perry Como w/them. They are now having the good time.

  • @aitchison68 And may god bless U. U have done that already just sharing your memories of your young days w/ your dad. Of course maybe I like U clicked to Perry Como in thinking of my father. Music is such a blesssing because of the ways it can take us back to happier times of our lives. Plus of course the great memories if feeds back into us.
