this is really good man, i didnt know that you could move the waves around in the lfo like that. people need to stop being lazy and have fun. i do these tutorials and then go nuts with the possibility's.
I have a give away that has 5 nice skrillex massive patches (1.1.5) and some drums sounds. Comes with a full song (FLP) ((Fl studio file)) and a template to make your own song. Im currently at 212 subs but I will be giving it away at 500! Please come sub! here is the video /watch?v=mYl8xpNaW1M .... thumb this comment up if you like them!
@The1AndOnlyAng3l that's also a way to automate . so but to be more technical with the automation would be to choose "edit events". that enables it to shaped in its bottom piano roll window / increasing the height ,the faster the lfo or filter. via vise versa X)
Hey I know you probably get 100 requests a day but I have another! Haha....could you steer me in the direction of the main synth from rusko's woo boost please!! And I like how you encourage us to try messing around with the sounds....could you maybe have a tutorial about what some of the oscillators do cause sometimes when I try to start from scratch it sounds terrible haha!! Thanks again for all the tutorials man!
We are on the same level man, I was just thinking about Woo Boost and ALSO making a tutorial just going through what types of manipulations will make what type of sound or effect. Thanks!
@GudiBeats Yo Gudi I subscribed. Love the communal atmosphere here. Quick Q for everyone. What's your best resource for dance drum tracks? I use Sonar which doesn't seem to get as much exposure as Logic/Ableton, but Sonar does come with lots of drum beats and sounds and SessionDrummer3, but the problem is it lacks for core dance sounds, especially pad cymbals, reverse cymbals, and noise swoops and pads. Any input would be great thanks.
i did exactly what u did. i had different default settings but i think i changed everything how it should be. still it sounds like something is missing. can u send me a preset of this sound or at least a preset of ur default settings so i can start again with the right default settings?
Even though it is rather un-economic as far as cpu goes, because FL does not have very good automation in my opinion (especially with third party vst's like massive), I make multiple synths to make a wobble line with different rates.
@nicotheme To automate in Massive, first right click on the knob/setting you want to automate. look at the name of the setting. Go to the top left, and open the drop down menu, and click browse parameters, that should open a list of every parameter that is being used in massive. Look for the name of the knob that you wanted to automate, right click on that, click create automation clip. Now you're done.
Yes, that is another way, but it seems to be very inconsistent. I've told many that, and for some it works, others it doesn't.
Personally, I automate a lot in real time, but obviously in a wobble line that does not work well. Right what The1andOnly said, but keep in mind ****FL Studio automation editing is not very good*** In my opinion.
@GeistManiac if you use FL studio, click on the top left of the massive plugin, you'l get a shell menu. In that menu there is a option called: Browse parameters. You'll get a list with all the functions within Massive that you can automate :P
Everytime i put an LFO under any of the knobs i get a message that says "FL Studio 10 has encountered a problem and needs to shut down' please help!!!
Ok so i know how to make it and change the rate of the wobble but who do you record the rate of the wobble so its not all fast or not all like average you know what i mean?
Man, nice tutorial because for 1 reason u sat there and said what you were doing, you didnt just do it in silence or somthing playing in the backround so for a first video, I would say your better then pro's
i like how you say you're sick. you're talking clearly already so that's all that really matters. half these videos you can't see or hear what the hell anyone's doing or saying. or people are too scared to talk so they type all their words out.
Hey dude, your videos are great! This sounds really good as well. I don't know if you do this in your newer videos, but you should put the result first so people don't have to skip to the end to see it. Great job again though, sounds so similar. :)
This is sick! Helps a lot man thanks! :) I make my own dubstep in attempt at being as good as Skrillex. This certainly helped because I am searching for better sounds! :)
Pretty similar at the original ! I made a preset sounding like this one, called it "ColaNotch", take a listen bro and tell me what do you think of it ====> youtube.com/watch?v=b8Vyjt2N4e4

nicotheme 4 months ago
@nicotheme
Even though it is rather un-economic as far as cpu goes, because FL does not have very good automation in my opinion (especially with third party vst's like massive), I make multiple synths to make a wobble line with different rates.
So my sequencer might look like this:
Wobble 1/2
Wobble 1/4
Wobble 1/8
etc...
Hope that helps!
GudiBeats 4 months ago 3
@nicotheme To automate in Massive, first right click on the knob/setting you want to automate. look at the name of the setting.
