  • HALF OF THE VIDEO IS TEXT hahahahaha

  • That awkward moment when Youtube could not count to 8...

  • this should be the new toribash

  • Thanks ill try that :)

  • how did you get both characters in the same scene ???

  • @owainllyrpritchard Each character was made in a separate blend file then I appended them into the scene of a new blend file. I'm sure there are better ways of doing this. One is to use proxy. Do a google search on Blender proxy objects to find out more. It lets you link an object from a seperate blend file and use it in your scene in a non destructive way.

  • AWESOME MAN AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • very good

  • Nicely done

  • lol when he was out cold he looked funny

  • keep pressing 2 and it looks liks its street fighter

  • you just got knocked the fuck out

  • Very nice. I like the screen shake upon impact.

  • I Think This is Great

  • You wanna use your animating talents for a 3D MMO? Email me at m.meyer@vxtream.com and you could help us(23 people) animate our 3D game as a volunteer!

    Thanks and Kind Regards.

  • This is great. Me and my team have a new Hercules 3d animated cartoon coming out any ideas?

don't forget to subscribe and get day by day updates

  • can you make a tutorial?

  • Why does the camera man shake when the dude gets hit? Are they like...bonded on a deeper level?

  • iT LoOkEd GoOd 2 Me .)

  • maybe you should post a video on how you made that. mine is total crap.

    Anyway, your animations rock!

  • awesome!!! great animation.... i understand how challenging it can be to animate realistic body weight

  • "Oh boy what a lovely day FOOOOOT!!!!!!!"

  • @JzzdInMyPant lol XD

  • @guthix908 this is bullshit. i've seen a thousand comments like this and its never been true.

  • @guthix908 Please quit spaming

  • THE BLACK GUY LOOKS SO COOL!

  • @metasnaruto thats racist

  • works but as soon as the guy hits the floor, he bounces going up without spinning, and THEN spins too late.

  • @ddrmaxman You gotta think past physics and more on body sweat, texture/friction of different surfaces. If one side of his body is moist, wet and stanky it's going to slip more than the other, gripping the surface of the floor, causing him to spin slightly.

  • @ShaneNewville I thought about that but it doesn't match up. you see, he hits the ground and then bounces up. afterwards, about 3/4ths of a second later while he's still in the air, he violently flips around without further contact.

watch at about 0:02, you will see a delay between actions. by the way, excellent job on the ninja project animation.

  • @ddrmaxman Well don't forget about the other important elements. For example, wind. There was probably a strong gust that force him to spin while in the air. Since wind is not visible it could leave a spectator puzzled and thinking to themselves "afterwards, about 3/4ths of a second later while he's still in the air, he violently flips around without further contact. I don't get it." I mean it's pretty logical. Heck, just look at what a tornado can do.

  • @ShaneNewville

we don't know all that, also, none of that was shown here. The physics are off, stop coming up with excuses to defend your animation, you have to be willing to accept critique if you're ever going to get better

  • @10lettername lol! The flaws in my animation are painfully obvious. I'm well aware of them and don't have a problem talking about it. That's why I'm having fun joking about it. I not everyone catches onto this so I am now explaining to prevent any further confusion. It was only an animation test. Animation only took one night (75% of the time spend on rendering). Feel free to crit if you must.

  • @ShaneNewville lol through the whole conversaiton it was obvious you were messing with 10lettername and yet he was to stupid to catch on, nice way to deal with trolls =)

  • @10lettername you're forgetting a well known fact that most white Nurbians randomly shift their center of gravity when under extreme stress, which Shane refused to neglect in this simulation!

  • awesome simple and clean

  • good work but the way he flips when he falls on the ground just doesn't look right

  • @airgeek11 oops

forgot i commented on this 4 months ago

lol, now i feel like an idiot

  • @airgeek11 Yeah, yeah, yeah... Why don't you tell the guy himself that it doesn't look right when he falls? Show a little compassion will yuh? If you fell down the stairs I doubt you'd want to hear someone tell you it didn't look right.

  • ohh poor guy i felt that one

  • I'm a noob at blender, but blender seems so cool...There's something I really dont get...How do you change the pose of the guy when animating???

  • wheredid you made it?

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • can you make a tutorial for character creation ?

  • Comment removed

  • White:Hey i wonder what Black is.......UHHHH

  • dats fuckin tight! only thing i didnt like about it is how short it is... but still , fuckin tight!!!

  • @shanemysterio There more to come.

  • LOLOLOL I KEEP ON WATCHING THIS and i have no idea why im laughing or putting capital letters. but still, its funny.

  • nice bro

  • "Half of this video is text"

    haha

  • lol that was sweet i sblender a free program

  • bitch got pwned

  • dude, the flip when that guy landed on the ground looked so unrealistic, other than that pretty nice

  • awesome. yet - short :\

  • HOH! *kick*

  • i dont get it?

  • @tanitalind imagine, that the black person is chuck norris, will make sense then!

  • how do you get this animation thing i want it

  • "ok im safe"

    **turns around**

    "SHI-(boom)"

  • Really nice roll animation.

  • lol the dude was was like hi d... huh kick!!

  • can you make a modeling tutorial for one of the characters?

  • @sb2killer There is one, just look around for an anima like this, i remember the link, it was in the description of one.

  • @sb2killer found it! wiki . blender. org /index.php/BSoD/Introduction_to_Character_Animation it was in his first anim video :)

  • Great Job!

    - The reflection on the black guy was worth the extra rendering time.... mpo

  • what program was that

  • is this hard? and does it take alot of memory?

  • @CrossZiggy Yes it is hard (depending on one's own knowledge of animation). As far as memory, Yes, I had to memorize how to use Blender. ...computer memory, no. I kept all the models extremely low poly so it did not take much to make it. Although, this one took forever to render because I made the mistake of using high quality reflections on the black robo.

  • 2 questions:

    1. how much memory it take?

    2. is it hard?

  • É MUIIITOO realista

  • Awesome animation. But it seems a bit awkward when the guy lands on the floor. You know what I mean?

  • @bobsonenzo No. No I don't know what you mean.

  • @ShaneNewville I do.. he lands then slides further, as if he is gaining speed.. its amazing though!!!

  • @ShaneNewville I Do lol

  • @ShaneNewville i know what he means. it does look like an unnatural roll. if he got kicked backwards. then when he hits the ground his upper body would roll and hit feet would cary over his head.

but instead what you have is him hitting the ground then bouncing, then he spins from hist left to his right. its like the momentum completely changes directions form front to back to side to side

  • @bobsonenzo yea he hits the floor and rolls kinda akwardish

  • why do people ask what program? who the fuck cares? by a 3d package and learn it yourself, they can all do this.

  • hhahahaha

  • i know it is hard to read it but it said it in the video:Blender

  • lol. that was awesome! You've got some talent.

  • ur right it is easy! THNX :)

  • ???

  • and can u help me i cant i have have this program and i want to install it (if i havent already) but theres just sumtin wrong and it wont work i dont know why this is the program blender right?? or saomthing

  • @icEboy707 First make sure you're installing the one for Windows or Mac (which ever you use). I would download version 2.49 or 2.48 since 2.5 is a whole new thing and still kind of buggy. If you're on Vista you need to also download and install Visual C++ Redistribution Package as well as Python. All the links are on download page. I hope this helps.

  • @icEboy707 btw, which version are you trying to use and are you on Windows Vista? Also, how and where did you attempt to install it on your computer?

  • yes im on windows does it not work for that?? L0L o.0

  • @icEboy707 Yes. I use it on OS X (mac), WIndows XP 32-bit and Vista 64-bit with no problems.

  • I use OS X as well, is blender compatible with garage band? you could create music to go along with your animations.

  • @MrHenners12 Blender is not directly compatable with GarageBand, but you can export your music from GB and import the file to Blender. Or just use a separate video editing program and mix your animation and audio there.

  • it because of your screen graphics if it won work as in the screen is just blank or if it freezes you have problems that can be fixed with a program called advanced system care

  • my name is shane 2

  • owned

  • can you leave us a link to download the program¿

  • @CrisSAngeL0001 Just type "Blender" in any search engine and it should be the first result.

  • wat did u use to make this

  • ahh..... POOHH *bwaphh....*

  • I really liked this, I hope I get good enough to do something like this. It will definitely take a while because I get so distracted. @_@

  • very cool congrats

  • hey i have rendered pictures with blender for a animation but how do i compile them together?

  • You can import them as a movie clip in Blender's sequence editor. Select only the first image of an image sequence and they should all load up. Video programs like Adobe Premiere support image sequences. If you're on a mac and have Quicktime Pro, you can also import and image sequence and turn it into a single mov file for Final Cut Pro.

  • Lol not really a fight.

  • You are so correct. It's not a fight. It's test - fight animation

  • take how long to make a anime?

  • about 1 hour to animation and all night to render.

  • LOL, thats was funny when he was kicked.

  • nice rag doll effect

  • Thanks for reminding me. I want to learn to use Blender game physics to make a ragdoll one of these days.

  • Owned!

  • wow freak!

  • lol...*white guy smiling* "huh?" black guy* "ru!"

  • Nice. Make a longer version.

  • FALCON KICK

  • FALCON KICK!!!

  • grat

  • Cliche.

  • white: Huh? Wha? o.o

    black: Huuu! D:<

    *kicked*

    white: DX Ugh!

    *flops on floor*

    white" Pwned... X__X

  • PLZZZ TELL ME THE SOFTWARE U use for this PLZZZZZZZZZZZ

  • Its called Blender and it's free. Do a Google search for Blender 3D and it will be at the top of the list.

  • It's called Blender and it is free. Go download it and start learning how to make your wildest dreams come true.

  • Its called Blender and it is free.

  • dude fkin nice :D

  • that was fricking awesome!

  • Thanks! If you like this, you're going to love what I'm cooking up next.

  • how do u get this program

  • google blender 3d

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • This is a brilliant short. The slow motion is excellent and I did keep pausing to catch the moment when the white guy's cheeks puff out. Excellent work. I literally just started blender today and I've spent the whole afternoon on blenderwiki. I've made the simple person with working bones and a jeep tyre but I reckon I'm a little way off this yet.

  • 2 Words: FALCON KICK!

  • what program is this?

  • blender...

  • I need help! :/

You made it through that tutorial right? I got stuck at the mouth bit on page 3 "Shaping the Mouth". I can't seem to get it right! :(

    PLEASE help. :/

  • I'm assuming you're talking about modeling and no animation. Don't worry about getting it perfect. Just have fun with it and be OK with your character looking like a mess. What's important is that you learn the process so you can create your own later on. Just keep practicing and you'll get it. Eventually it will be as easy to you as eating.

  • Okay, thanks! I was getting EXTREMELY frustrated with that part. I almost gave up! :/

Anyways, thanks. I'm going to go try again. :D

I hope you are still animating though. Can we expect more works from you soon? :/

  • You're welcome. I definitely know what it's like to be so frustrated I want to smash my computer off a roof into the concrete. The next version of Blender is supposed to make things a lot easier Blender 2_5 so look forward to that. And yes, keep at it. Oh and yes I would love to keep making these. It's just that I have so little time. It would be fun to make a part two of this fight test.

  • Thanks SO much for your help. I'm REALLY looking forward to your future work, even if it isn't on Blender. I'm going to give the tutorial another shot. Is it okay if I contact you when I finish a test? You know, just to know if I'm doing it right.

    Anyways, BIG HELP. :D

  • Thanks for the tip. You have helped me A LOT so far. You have NO idea how much you have helped me. :D

I'm going to finish a test soon. Can I contact you just to check it out to see what I'm doing right or wrong?

Also, have you considered going through an animation degree? I'm planning on doing it, and I can tell you have ab incredible amount of potential and you definitely can pull it off.

  • Sure things. I'll check it out. Just send me a message.

  • Oh btw, I would definitely recommend getting animation education if you can. I would love to but I'm not in a position to do so at the moment. Animation Mentor is a great school if you can afford the online schooling.

  • Okay. Thanks a lot. I'm going to go check it out. Good luck with your future animations!

  • love the slo mo. its like one of those animes dont you think?

  • THAT'S IT! I'M SUBSCRIBING!! :B

I really hope to be as good as you. That black dude looks kickass.

  • That's well animated!

  • one more thing? was this super difficult? kind of difficult? difficult? easy? sorry, but i had to ask. =P

  • It was hard to do being my first multi character interaction test, but this might be easy to other people.

  • how did yo make that black guy??? he's awesome!!!

  • I used the tutorial (posed in the description), moved vertices around to give him a different shape and gave him different materials. They're both nearly identical aside from how they look.

  • *LoL*

  • oh i forgot to mention in the comment below, the reason i use lower poly models is because my other workstation died so im at 2ghz and 2gb ram .. i still like the look more now though ( i animate in c4d i used blender but it just felt alien to me )

  • FALCON KICK! < < sorry somone had to say it, no but in all seriousness thats nice, it has alot more sbudivisions than my animations but i prefer lower poly models :/ i only go to 5,048Polygons per model

  • lol i give it a five becuse the white was like ahh and turns around and is like HOLY SH**!!!!!!! *POW*

  • whats the name of this programm can yous end me ther link and it is free=? please the direct lkink i´m from germany thanks!!!!!

  • its blender. i think so since it says in description....

  • dude your awesome in blender, nice

  • LAWL

    PWNAGE

  • i understand why it is not long , it is a pain in the rump to animate in 3d and rendering sucks

  • It can be a pain. You just have to find the most efficient methods for your system. Now I've narrowed it down to about 4 seconds per framefor my new short ninja animation (it's not online yet) using PNG image sequence instead of making a single video file.

  • This is really good, much better than me, and that black dude was cool looking.

  • xD quick as a fash.

i loled when u said "half of this video is text"

    idk y...

  • awesome! when the black guy came in i got scared for a sec.!

    lol

  • "Half this video is text"

    lol

  • it is to fast

  • That's what the guy getting kicked said.

  • lol

  • lol dude dat was intense, when he kicked dat guy i was like "oooooooh" lol, i'm soo gonna make one soon.

  • ahaha the SFX sounds like the start to demo & cease - ladies night! lol

  • awesome!

    you need 2 do more!

  • nice scene. 3 questions, though...

    1) you used meta figures to make them, right?

    2) if so, how did you keep the black and white meta figures from sticking together?

    3) finally, how in the heck do you color meta figures?!?!?! I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
