That is a very stupid point to focus on. The only important thing for a race car is lap time.

If you put an ordinary person into a single seater, he/she cannot pilot it properly because the chassis needs a lot of downforce to generate enough grip to go around corners at 2-3g. That means corner entry and corner speed is way pass ordinary drivers' comfort level. The same goes for the braking point.
