  • why dit bon died i miss him so much

  • I think Bon had a little bit more charisma than Brian and a different style, but I also like Brian's style, he was a good match for the band

  • Put your hand up if you want to go to the lake of fire!

  • I hope we can get over the Brian Johnson Bon Scott comparison. They were both great. They both kicked ass. And they both rock... so let's let it go. Bon Scott can never be replaced, nor could Brian Johnson. They are both great characters, and you can't replace great characters.

  • Although Brian Johnson may have written more songs, Bon Scott had a much more clear voice in his singing and I have to say that Brian Johnson appears even to this day to be the best replacement, he will never reach the level and clarity that Bon Scott had in his voice and singing.

  • Bon Scott was made for AC/DC thats the diffrence, his Character & Charisma gave the band a power they've never had since he died. But whats strange is, alot of american's at that time didn't get Bon. The band were advised to get a new singer if they were 2 crack america. So u don't know what to believe about that whole incident between the early 1980 gigs & the early studio sessions of BackinBlack. I don't believe Johnson wrote even half the lyrics of that album, but he did a great vocal on it!!

  • i like Bon Scotts voice more but Brian Johnson has written more songs that i like

  • It really sucks that he's dead because AC/DC would of never been the same without his voice. But luckily Brian Johnson has an OK voice. If you don't like Brian fuck off. He's has a fine voice and it is close enough to Bon's voice.

  • ac/dc, because that is the cords they used...so I have been told!!!!!

  • @HarleyShaker It's actually Alternate Current/Direct Current ^^ That's also indicated with the lightning bolt.

  • what an arsehole interviewer asking that question

  • ac/dc means homosexuals

  • @shane69999 What dictionary did you find that in?

  • @shane69999 wow, why do you have to say stuff like that? AC/DC is great and you must feel pretty bad about yourself to call a band like them homosexuals. screw you

  • @shane69999 mate, AC/DC was coined in the seventies, it has absolutely nothing to do with the gay shit that goes on nowadays.

  • @MegaMickin ac/dc was the name taken from a sewing machine that belonged to angus' sister.

  • I hate how these ACDC people never let the man rest. I was looking for information on Abgar V.

  • who cares, acdc is gay

  • @unseenlock any decent person, because the man fucking died.

  • @unseenlock you sir, are gay, and even if you don't like the music they make that still doesn't give you the right to call them that, SO STOP HATING DIRTY HATER

  • @unseenlock is that so dickhead, have they gangbanged you recently?

  • @unseenlock ACDC ARE NOT GAY MATEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brain is a damn good replacement. Who tha fuck else could of done what he did?

Bon Scot obviously the #1 shit since he was the first. Can only imagine the albums that would have been released if he were still alive

  • Really miss u Ronnie.........

  • Bon was AC in the 70s and Brian was DC in the 80s... Back in Black is the only Brian era album I've owned and it rocks... but there is no real need to listen to them after BinB because ACDC were at their best in the 70s with Bon and much stronger, classic material... but if you went to see them live in the 80s Brian was every bit as hearty as Bon on vocals and that kept a great Rock band going. I saw em at Donnington 91 and it was one of the best rock gigs ever... so thank GOD they carried on.

  • The fact that somebody mentioned the Jonas Brothers on a thread about Bon Scott makes me want to vomit.

  • @ConspiracyGuy1 Sorry about that mate...But I have actually come across a really misguided Youtuber, that made the most fucked up vid about why you know who's better than the great AC-DC. It's such an idiotic attempt, that only people who've never actually taken the time to listen to them would believe it. I actually felt like vomiting at the end with RAGE!!!!.

  • Just how lucky are AC/DC to have had two of the greatest Rock singers of all time in the band

  • In the July 2004 issue of Classic Rock, Scott was rated as number one in a list of the "100 Greatest Frontmen Of All Time" - Wikipedia

  • I think Bon Scott and Brian Johnson are both awesome. I have no preference between them.

  • a powerful message

  • Bon Scott was on a list ahead of Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant, what does this tell everybody? While he was ALIVE.Brian's okay..but Bon made every song sound...different.Brian's voice can, and WILL get on everyone's nerves once in awhile,so don't deny this people. :D cheers.

  • The Greatest Front Man To EVER LIVE, no one was ever better. Guys like Axl Rose based EVERYTHING THEY DID off this man. Guys like Ozzy Osbourne & Mick Jagger looked up to him.

  • for all those who insist AC/DC are a UK band... OPEN YOUR EARS. You don't get more Aussie than that bloody accent.

  • @sunnybabydoll90 Not all of us do mate. It's just Phil Rudd's the only full Aussie in the Band. Even Bon was originally from the same background as the Young bros.

  • @MattRuaneBlog not saying everybody but I've had people argue the shit out of it with me. And the thing that's really annoying is that 90% of Australian population migrated to Australia, not just in the 18th Century and saying that "well they weren't born in Australia so they're not Australian" really pisses me off because to be perfectly frank the only people who are true "Australians" if people want to get technical about roots are Aboriginals. The boys were raised in Australia since '63....

  • @sunnybabydoll90 The way I see it mate, The UK discovered The land of opportunity(USA) and The land of plenty(Aussie). But whoever's living there has the right to whatever identtity they want and that's how it should be. So yeah "Advance Australia fair".

  • ...they've been in Australia longer than plenty who call themselves Aussie. The BAND was formed in sydney by a pair of blokes who are just about as Aussie as they come - that is Australian, just a great big melting pot of native and foreign culture. And Phil Rudd is Lithuanian (though born in Australia, a lot of citizens were not however), born Witschke Rudzevecuis - he just shortened it.

  • @MattRuaneBlog technically a full Aussie is an indigenous Australian ie Aboriginal . Call yourself what you want but what is a "full Aussie" ??? I'm a full Aussie back to First fleet . Selah

    agreed sunnybabydoll90

  • @Xenastaintya When I say full Aussie, I meant someone who's actually just classified as an Australian born member of the band. Don't know a great deal about the other previous members of the band, but all the current members in the band apart from Rudd are from The UK. I don't debate like our imperialist ancestors, I'm not ever gonna steal Australias pride, I know they're an Aussie band, otherwise by now Angus or Malcolm would've spoken public on the subject.

  • 999th like

  • mettez de la contrebasse, de la cornemuse, prenez un chanteur australien, et voilà, :il est pas mort

  • it sounds like a robot doing the interviewing

  • brian and bon are two fantastic singers, nobody else could have filled bons scotts boots the way brian did, i dont think AC/DC would have continued had they not stumbled across brian johnson, he was the right man at the right time & i have nothing but the utmost admiration for both singers.and to argue who was better than who is irrelevant, both bon & brian are unique...and so are AC?DC

  • @Vizzztor I know exactly what you mean. People don't seem to realise that Bon may have been the original singer for AC/DC, but Brian has been with the band for over 30 years. So people think of him more than Bon.

  • @HeavyMetalRocker95 NO Bon wasnt the original Singer of ACDC. and you call yourself "heavymetalrocker"

  • @hardyboyzrko Yeah i found out recently that there was that other guy who was with the band in 1972, but not alot of people know about him.

  • @hardyboyzrko i think how i would word it is dave evans was the first, but bon was the ORIGINAL

  • @ThisIsS000Sad Nahhhh dont think so . Dave was the original Singer, Bon the next and Brian the Third

  • @hardyboyzrko i know that, technically speaking, but in my opinion bon scott was the first truly good singer, so even though he wasnt the first, i consider him the original

  • @ThisIsS000Sad Thats some weird arsed way of thinking, i hope you dont do that with everything in life 8)

  • how can anyone say brian is shit?! yes bon is amazing! but if acdc never had rian they would have the power of his voice that maked acdc songs what they are brian is the best singer int he world today and he has been for a long time! and hes fucking 63 and he is still got that amazing voice so fuck of!

  • @CMPUNKwweCHAMP Right on. But the fact of the matter is that ACDC would have taken a different direction with Scott (amazing frontman!!!). Even thought Brian sang Back in Black, the spirit of Scott is in it. It was his and the rest of the Band's collaboration over time. Brian would then do his own collaborations after that and were not that bad as songwriter, but it would take the Razor's Edge for the band to find it's true chemistry together with Brian who kicks ass totally.

  • BIB is an amzing album. Johnson is great. Bon was great, RIP. Let it go.

  • People, when will you all learn?

LEGENDS never die... and Bon Scott is by NO means an exception! ;)

  • to paraphrase agent k: "No Bon is not dead, he just went home."

  • R.I.P. Bon! You were and always will be the greatest rock n roll singer ever to have

    lived.

  • I've seen ac/dc 46 times since 79 including 2 times with Bon.And to slander Johnson in anyways is just stupidity.Ignore the haters.Anyone who disses any member of ac/dc is not a true fan, never was & never will be.Have your opinions, but no need to be an asshole about it.You pieces of shit.

  • @WeCareAlottt *a Brian-is-not-bad comment.

  • I was born in 68 but I remember the news reporter Walter Concrite telling of Jimi Hendrix ,Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, I remember watching Nixon get on the chopper wave a peace sign then fly away and my grandfather yelling at the TV set " You Crook". Strange but I do remember them. Strangly I don't recall Bon Scotts death Probably because at that time my house burned down and we were in media blackout thanks to my pothead brother throwing a towel on a space heater.

  • Also, Brian did a pretty good job on Bon's songs live in concert too. Sounds a little different, but even he admits they're not his songs.

  • Some of you people need to wake up! Bon Scott was a dynamite lead singer, but if Brian Johnson hadn't shown up after he died, we wouldn't even be talkin about AC/DC today.

  • My interest in this was purely to hear the bands take on Bon. Never had the chance to listen to Angus , the man. No need to use it as a vehicle to "dis" someone?

  • if you like Brian, then what are you doing on this page? And haven't we had enough of the Bon vs. Brian debate? I can assure everyone this, Bon nor Brian give a fuckin' damn.

  • nobody sang like Bon......but Brian is damn close & a great replacement or they would ave never went forward............sounds like he gargles with gasoline.........you've been thunderstruck mate

  • brian is not worser than bon, he is different, not better, not worser. they are BOTH great, but different!

  • well he's definetely "ostralian" !!

  • They were both the perfect fit for AC/DC, I couldnt imagine them singing each others songs because they both had their own style but each kicked so much ass. RIP Bon

  • Brian is better end of story

  • deepest sympathy

  • Love Bon , But people give it up Back In Black mis one of the best Rock albums ever

  • i personally think that brian johnson and bon scott sounds soo much alike!

  • Bon's dead?!? I didn't get that memo.

  • Angus. The king of "Ya know"

  • @jamrush123 Actually that would be Dixon Edwards, sir. Google it and you'll see what I mean. ;-)

  • Best AC/DC album top to bottom?

    I say Back in Black

  • RIP Bon Scott my all time favourite singer along with Lemmy , but Brian Johnson ACDC could not have chosen a better replacement cause you are incredible.

  • I dont hate Brian Johnson,I just think Bon was better, thats all. He had a natural "raspy" type voice that was unique and powerful and just had that certain something. But Brian was able to step in and bring his own unique talent to the band, that in my opinion, nobody else could have done, and kept AC/DC alive. I love everything theyve done with Brian. The Bon Scott to Brian Johnson transition worked so well, that MANY people cant tell the difference or even know theyre 2 different people.

  • @kree1964 Maybe Van Halen shouldve taken a page from ACDC's book......

  • @VajinalBloodFart Yeah, Van Halen died when Roth left. Funny, I liked Van Halen and I liked Sammy Hagar, but I HATED Van Hagar...

  • @kree1964 David Lee was one of the greatest frontmen of his time...very few can touch that shit.

  • Don't get me wrong Bon Scott was awesome, but I prefer Brian Johnson.

However, Bon definitely did not derserve to die like that.

  • Brian J could NEVER compare to Bon Scott!

  • if i was angus i would of said "GET THAT GODDAMN MICROPHONE OUTTA MAH FACE!!!!!!"

  • Brian Johnson has stated for the record that while the band was in the Bahamas to begin recording "Back in Black", he had a visitation from Bon and Bon told him everything would be alright and that Brian had his blessing to continue on as the new singer. Brian was awake when this happened, so it was no dream and he was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. In my mind, that settles this whole debate about Bon vs. Brian.

  • Fuck all Brian Johnson haters. He is as great as Bon. And you dumbasses who "love" Bon and hate Brian - if not Brian , you wouldn't even know about existing of Bon Scott, cause AC/DC became big deal after Bon's death, and if they had stopped, they wouldn't have become famous, so thanks to him , we know Bon too !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No shit Bon and Brian sound different cuz they are different people no surprize here.

  • There was only one Bon and there is only one Brian - they are both unique rock n roll legends and way better that all the "singers" we have these days.

  • Enough with the Brian bashing...Anybody who's seen AC/DC on BEHIND THE MUSIC will recall Brian stating: "I was never brought in to replace Bon,I was brought in because Bon was there no more except in spirit". I miss Bon too..I never got a chance to see AC/DC in concert with Bon at the realm..But it was Bon's Parents who encouraged the band to carry on because they all agreed it is what Bon would have wanted. No other singer could come even close to filling Bon's shoes.

  • Brian Johnson sucks assholes, Bon is the man, anyone who disagrees can eat shit and die!

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds your mum suck stfu, little kid! when you are grown up, and got some balls you will se that it aint nice to not have any respect. moron, Brian is one Hell of a good singer, better than bon i think, but i dont say bon is bad? he isn't, none of em are, i will like to eat shit and die, but you eat the whole WC, and died 2mins. after so i guess you had a great life, little kid!^^

  • @ReCKlezZFTW fuck off you white trash maggot shit fuck, you dumb cocksucker, go fuck your mother you faggot, but you have to wipe my jizz off her face first, asshole!

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds oh, you sounds pro to that, to bad your dad is BJ'ing you? ^^ you cant piss me off, but you can show some respect and Say Brian is a good singer? the world aint so bad as you think it is. Grow up, take a shower, you could get laid. cuz its seems like you need it when you are getting mad over a comments. AC/DC Cheers dude

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds you suck monkey fuck brian is better get over it

  • @poopyguy1694 Fuck you and go die fuckface!

  • @StoneyMcJuicyBuds you know its true his voice is way better bon sounded like a little gay boy who didnt know how to sing im just sayin it how it is if you dont agree with me than you can go eat your mom's bloody rags and die ok? peace out homie

  • @poopyguy1694 Brian screams like he's getting fucked in the ass by a nigger.

  • R.I.P :'(

  • happy birthday Bon!

  • I always loved AC/DC, but I have to say, they sure CAPITALIZED on Bon's death and took it for every penny. They were going to get a new singer if Bon did not perform/sing up to Malcolm standards on Highway to Hell, if I remember correctly. OOPS.....was I supposed to forget that???? I don't think Bon did.

  • Check out the video Girls got Rhythm, Bon is on a seperate platform from the band. This isn't the only video displaying the friction between the band and Bon.......

  • The only problem I have with AC/DC is that Bon Scott is dead, but whatever, ill just Ride On.... :"(

  • @valzameck324 we know this already. everyone posts the same shit over and over lol

  • R.I.P. Bon Scott but i have to be honest it worked out for the best and ac/dc was lucky to have brian johnson and he made ac/dc a hell of alot better "no offence" AND DONT REPLY ON THIS COMMENT OR I KILL YOU!!!!....... JK JK

  • Yeah Bon was Great!! I loved his stage presence, his voice and his lyrics. I honestly feel that AC/DC, as good a singer and entertainer as Brian Johnson is, Bon was almost irreplaceable. The lyrics, the lewdness of his voice, the sheer pizazz of his performance. But unfortunately he died early.

No disrespect meant to Brian at all....... he is probably/possibly/arguably the only singer in the world who could have stepped into those shoes successfully. And he has done that just brilliantly!!!

  • both, Bon and Brian, are great... just think the first jailbreak and the second back in black...

  • R.I.P. Bon Scott. But for those in denial, Brian is the best thing to ever happen to AC/DC, period.

  • Bon and Brian are just so different. Obviously Bon sounded more classic. You should realise that if Bon still would be the lead singer, young people probably wouldn't feel anything for AC/DC. Almost every non-ACDC fan though loves Thunderstruck, it isn't my favourite anymore, but that's how I got into AC/DC as Thunderstruck was the only song I liked back then. For me Brian made AC/DC what it is today, not Bon. As Brian is with them for 3 times as long now...

  • you idiots, Bon was pure Frankston, rough and raw but hard and fare.

  • I preferred Bon to Brian, I liked the blusey, prog, heavy rock n roll style, When Brian took over AC/DC turned into a real heavy metal band which I'm not really into. The Bon era had the perfect slightly heavy sound to it. Just my opinion, don't shoot me :D

  • he is a legend. r.i.p.

  • Who can say that Bon is shit....ooooo my God....go and listen Britney Spears you asshole....

RiP Scott and long live BRIAN

    Let there be ACDC

  • Rock In Peace bro.

  • Bon was the absolute shit!

Brian on the other hand is just shit, absolutely.............

But dammit, the rest of the boys still fucking ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Betters4Millions Your a daft cunt, Brian was never brought into to replace Bon, he was added as they needed a fucking singer and hes lead them to the biggest selling Rock album in history, so Get a fucking grip! Dont call yourself an AC/DC fan, your a fucking Plastic fan!

  • @Betters4Millions yes of course......cuz your the true rock god who millions of people look up to around the world right?

  • Bon Scott was the quintessential rock'n'roll blues singer, perfect for AC/DC in their 70's form. Brian Johnson with his volume and range took AC/DC and made them into a heavier band. Brian Johnson is a very professional performer, keeps palavering between songs to a minimum, tells the audience the next tune and blast off. Hell's Bells, Shoot to Thrill, Back in Black, You Shook Me, Are You Ready, Thunderstruck, all very heavy stuff with higher range....not sure Bon could have sung that range.

  • hey Stevie Wright:D

  • How much booze did Bon Scott drink that day? More than Bonham? Thanks for a responsible reply.

  • @Kelly14UK He drank 7 Vodka bottles Now thats more than Chuck Norris!

  • i don't get emotonial often but i cried when i heard about bons death

  • Bon was ACDC. brian carried on the torch.

  • Grow the fuck up all of you dumb fucks Bon is ACDC u can never replace a founding member of ne band u guys need to learn sum fucking loyalty forreal,

  • @rhodes2385 The thing is... Bon wasn't a so called "founder" of AC/DC. They started in 1973 with Dave Evans. Bon didn't come in until late 1974. But I get what you're saying. Bon was (if not the guy) one of the guys that brought them into the spotlight.

  • @rhodes2385 Is AC/DC loyal to you?

  • @rhodes2385 Not a founding member. And the Young brothers were-are AC/DC. Bon is a legend, but so is Brian. Don't speak, unless you have something intelligent to say :-)

  • I'm fed up of seeing "Brian is shit" comments. Have u got ears? Right, he is no Bon. Right, Bon was probably better, and we all miss him. But, OMFG, show some respect for Brian! He is (or was) a very good singer, an AWESOME singer in his prime. I'm fed up of this shit.

  • @Vizzztor agreed...no real ac/dc fan can say brian is shit, i personally like him more, but still also think bon could have been one of the greatest singers of all time

  • @ericvick7 Same, I'm the real AC/DC fan. Brian is really good singer but Bon, he was the heart of AC/DC's soul. No music should be able replace Bon or Brian. They both are the legend

  • @Vizzztor brian is still a good singer i love all of the boys from AC/DC

  • @Vizzztor bri johnston is the new bonn scott

  • @Vizzztor Yeah man! , yes bon was good, but they got very lucky and were blessed to have someone like Brian when they thought they werent even going to find someone...And he is still amazing, regarding your (or was) comment, not saying it to be rude, But i dont know if youve heard the band lately or not live, I saw them about 2 years ago in dallas texas, And they rocked the roof off man! , ACDC still has it! , For those about to rock!

  • @Vizzztor

Hey Vizz - I agree with everything you said here.

Bon was REALLY good, but remember - Brian was GREAT.

They reached 'the next level' with Brian, not with Bon.

The top selling Hard Rock album in 1980 (Back in Black) , more radio play and more success than they ever had before.

If Highway to Hell put them on the launching pad, Back in Black shot them into the stratosphere.

Bon will always be missed, but Brian put the band on the map to stay......

  • @Vizzztor Dude, hell yeah. BRIAN JOHNSON IS THE SHIT!

  • @Vizzztor he's not a 'singer' he can only screech! I can't listen to any ac/dc songs by him, he spoils it, it sounds like its painful for him to 'sing.' It's like they were in a rush to get a new singer and grabbed the first bloke that came along, regardless of talent or singing ability.

  • @westaussiemate they went threw alot of ppl before they found brien took them six weeks of try outs plus hes one of the only other singers bon liked

  • @westaussiemate your a fucking idiot

  • @westaussiemate You obviously did not listen to brian johnson before AC/DC or the Back In Black album. Brian was an incredible singer. You are just an ignorant dumbass.

  • U r totally right. I got dvd and reliized it said brian Johnson and he sucked compared to bon scott on my other dvd

  • @Vizzztor Takem down! Don't stand for the sheet!! Punch someone!

  • @Vizzztor I only listen to Bon Scott AC/DC.. :( That's how much I like his era of AC/DC

  • @brandon9966 U got dat right brah, I feel da same - Hail, Hail, Bon Scott!!

  • @Vizzztor I wasn't too thrilled with Brian. But then I saw them live with Brian, and he really is that good. I saw them live with Bon also.

  • @Vizzztor Also to all you Brian haters I've news for you.

    1. He's only where he is now because of Bon Scott claiming "Brian Johnson, he was a great rock and roll singer in the style of Little Richard." And that was Bon's big idol, Little Richard. When he saw Brian at that time, to Bon it was 'Well he's a guy that knows what rock and roll is all about.' We have Bons Idol.

    2. He's every bit as big a fan of Bon as all of us so don't diss him.

    3. He's the same thing just a Damn sight more raspy.

  • @MattRuaneBlog okay wow, you can be a brian johnson fan, but hes the same thing as the GREATEST FRONTMAN OF ALL TIME????????? UHHHH i dont think so..........

  • @ConiferTreez Funny mate...I don't think I even said that. If you're on about the raspiness part. It's actually a fact that everyone knows all too well. You have to listen hard, and to the right song aswell. But this is the equation for you. Bon Scott=Robert Plant but more aggressive, Brian Johnson=Bon Scott with no creamy soulfullness. Just pure gold, old school, headbanging, RocknRoll aggression. If you need more evidence do yourself some research.

  • @MattRuaneBlog OH GOD. HAHAHA!!! The raspiness? Brian Johnson is a turd with no voice and no personality. He's a decent rock vocalist, THAT'S IT. I don't think you understand, Bon Scott was the GREATEST ROCK STAR THAT EVER BREATHED. Brian Johnson isn't even top 20.

  • @ConiferTreez (sigh) Dude let me make this perfectly clear. It's debatable, Bon Scott I'll say this as a loyal fan of AC DC was my first choice for my all star band of Deceased Legends. So don't go saying I don't have a clue. I love Bon as much as the next bloke. But if you really were as loyal a fan of him as you make out. Then wouldn't you agree that he knows what he's on about when he says "Brian Johnson, he was a great rock and roll singer in the style of Little Richard",(his Idol).

  • @MattRuaneBlog Bon was a nice guy, he said nice things about people. Doesn't mean they were necessarily true. It is NOT DEBATABLE. Brian Johnson is a solid rock singer, nothing more. Bon Scott was a one of a kind, once in a generation individual.

  • @ConiferTreez It's debatable in the sense you can have a favourite(which I don't). Bon was a great singer, performer, artist, songwriter, whatever you like. I ain't denying that, and maybe he didn't always mean what he said. But I doubt that he'd pretend someone else was like his idol on the record. Logically that's one lie nobody would ever tell. So just accept it already, you don't like Brian we get it. But you can't make up illogical shit like that. That's Jonas Brothers fans would say.......

  • @ConiferTreez Anyway to end the argument dude, tell me do you have a copy of the album The Razors Edge.

  • @ConiferTreez Everyone is influenced by another man in the same industry. So to Bon it's like performing with his idol, rather than man in a flat top from Dunston-upon Gateshead.

  • @MattRuaneBlog yeah, it took me awhile to accept Brian, Back in Black established Brian as the lead singer of AC/DC, now you can't imagine AC/DC without him.

  • @MegaMickin Yeah, well said mate. I'm just glad to hear that not all AC-DC fans are just Bon Scott fans. Thumbs up :)

  • @MattRuaneBlog

I do like Brian, but he isn't "The same thing just a damn sight more raspy" The biggest thing is Brian impersonates Bon, and you can tell. Bon was one of a kind, Brians exist everwhere..you know what I mean? And still, Brian is a great member of the band, and I really do like him...but to say they are even almost the same..meh.

  • @TheKenTerry Well it kinda works like this mate. Bon Scott was more of an aggressive version of Robert Plant. Whereas Brian extends the raspiness in his voice to another level. I found out most of this stuff from a dvd of AC-DC in performance. When Brian first came out, you can tell he was trying to live up to Bon a bit too much. But what matters at the end of the day is Bon liked him, and Brian does his job well. I personally don't have a favourite, but I'm just not a Bon patriot.

  • @MattRuaneBlog

He's not the same thing at all. Bon is powerful voltage, Brian is just electric shocks. I don't hate Brian Johnson, but I love Bon Scott a lot, and I think it's ridicoulous to campare them as singers... and I think that I dislike Brian in part because the 80% of AC/DC albums with Brian are mediocre.

Bon Scott forever. It's not purism, it's just rock'n roll.

  • @MrNicoDarko You're entitled to your opinion, but Powerful voltage on electric shocks... I doubt it. I love them both, but I'm not a Bon or Brian patriot, I'm an AC DC patriot. Plus I think it's stupid to compare them as well as Bon obviously like Brian proving he was good, and Brian respected Bon for who he was. I found out most of this stuff from a dvd of AC-DC in performance. TBC>

  • @MattRuaneBlog I think each one think as he thinks, and it's because of how he feels music. I feel something powerful when I listen to Bon's voice on AC/DC, that I don't feel listening to Brian's. Brians voice over AC/DC music it's not so especial to me like Bon's (with a lot of difference). I'm a patriot because of what I feel when I listen, not a non-sense patriot.

My favourite Brian's songs are Hells Bells , Thunderstruck, and You Shook Me All Night Long.

  • @MrNicoDarko So long as you like AC DC, you're not a bad guy at all in my eyes.

  • @MattRuaneBlog I truly love it XD

  • @MrNicoDarko and, leaving AC/DC apart, I'm not a bad guy XD

  • @MattRuaneBlog Bon Scott was more of an aggressive version of Robert Plant, whereas Brian extends the raspiness in his voice to another level.

  • @Vizzztor

some people are just morons, you know. I agree with you though.

  • Bon Scott isnt dead... he just Rocking. In. Peace so R.I.P Bon
