My favorite was HCDR until I decided to get a copy of FTR which didn't quite convince me at the time... In two days it became my new favorite. Since the keyboards are used a lot more, it's sort of lacking on HCDR now... It's not as atmospheric xD - Still, it introduced me to CoB so it's got a place in my heart :'3

i don't understand, when some ppl say that this album is so thrash. yes there is some thrash influences, but i thing that some songs on hatebreeder got even more thrash. and what's wrong with thrash.
@Tettuli Not so much the presence of thrash as the absence meldic death metal. Many CoB fans prefer their old style, and believe that they're 'selling out'. I love it all, and think that they're progressing, not selling out. Still... I do miss the Follow the Reaper/Something Wild days \m/

Well you are in luck because Alexi said he dislikes the power metal style and wants COB's music to be heavier. So I assume it's just gonna get heavier and heavier. Which is fine in my opinion! They have their old albums which are the best in my opinion, and they have their new stuff that is heavier but still great. I like that they have a wide variety of music now.

I hate when people say you're only a true fan if you like everything a band puts out. That's just stupid. I like their old stuff better, but i do like Blooddrunk and some songs on AYDY. However I'm not obligated to like everything they put out just because I'm a fan. Saying someone isn't a true fan just because they don't like a couple songs or an album is insulting and ignorant. And last time i checked everyone's allowed to share their opinion. I'm pretty sure it's in the constitution.

Cannibal Corpse is shit. Most death metal is just blast beats and speed. The melodic shit actually has music theory behind it to make good songs. Not some dude with palsy playing drums and a couple retards bangin on nickelwound strings pretending to know what they're doing. Cannibal Corpse has half assed attempts at solos(which are out of key and boring anyway). The melodic shit actually has some intelligent lyrics as well. I doubt you know jack shit about music and what makes it good in theory.
