My god we had a red bard whenever I was a kid, Butler ,pa seriously I thought winky's had great fries the red bard had the greasiest and best... Long live the red Barn someone bring it back.
They have a Red Barn in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada... but it's a matress store now... Seriously, where are people's priorities? You can get a mattress almost anywhere, but where can you get a great burger?
@theromulanwarhawk There was one in northern Toronto and when we would turn onto a certain road, all of us would start screaming for hamburgers in the back of the car - drove our parents nuts.
wow. we had a red barn in massillon ohio.. i loved that place..we got to choice on paydays were we wanted to eat.. it seems we went there everyfriday when i was kid. we only got to go out to eat once a week if we were lucky and if we behaved.,, then mcdonalds took over and we lost our redbarn.. the building that looks like a barn is still standing. and its a car parts place now....this was back in the 70"s when the barn was open
We had two Red Barns in San Jose, California back in the 70s & 80's...Unfortunately, the business closed in 1991 and was bought out by some Asian family who turned BOTH Red Barns into Chinese "fast food". The red barn structure is still intact, though.
We had a Red Barn in Wayne, Michigan about 15 miles west of Detroit. There is a redbarn website now with lots of pics and stuff looking back at the old days. I think it's redbarn something . net. Just search it I guess.
I remember them well. Living in Cleveland all my life, these were all over back then. When we lived in the Collinwood area, we had the one on E.152nd street by the Cleveland Police 6th district.
Then on the Westside, we had one on Detroit around W.80th? by the old ST. John Hospital.
Only two Red Barns in existence in my former area of San Jose, California...Now, it is a Chinese fast food restaurant...But the "Barn" shape buildings with the red & white trimmings are still there.
