@raiki15 See description and diagram at the beginning of the video -- The air we used had just as much O2 as the regular air we breathe, and we constantly introduced new 80% He / 20% O2 air into the balloon to compensate for losses and seepage.

@slimcheyenne We used a king-sized mattress bag, which was $8. The balloon didn't have to be totally airtight, so we just tied the end.

@vladbcom Please read the description and see the diagrams from the video. Helium is an inert gas so as long as we have a proper amount of oxygen in the mix (at least 20%) we are fine. We did this through a scuba shop that mixed a custom tank of 80% helium and 20% oxygen for us. Do NOT do this with a pure helium tank from a party supply store or you will run the risk of asphyxiation.

@chuckaduck69 No headaches, since we had more than enough oxygen. (I did the math on respiration and CO2 buildup to make sure we wouldn't get anywhere near toxic levels) The air did get muggy after 15min though.

The air was about $20. I borrowed a scuba tank from a friend, and had a scuba shop fill it up. We only needed about 25 cubic feet.

The "balloon" was a king size mattress bag that we tied at one end.
