most of the groups coming from the east look amateur compared to west coast crews. The ones from the West have been in the right environment to build their craft, took the initiative to move, show commitment, and can actually meet other great dancers to add on to their crew. Its just a higher concentration. Some/most groups coming out of the south/east are start ups that haven't taken the next step to moving to LA. I mean, no offense. I am from the east coast.

The west coast wins each year because everyone knows if you want to make it as a dancer (in music videos and such) you need to go to LA. EVERYONE goes there. But notice that not all of the group members originate from California. Teresa Espinosa is originally from Texas. Hok is from England.

New York is where you go when you want to make it in modern, ballet, broadway i.e. not styles that would be most appreciated on ABDC or lend itself to a group formation.

The producers are taking it too far with their choice in "unique" crews. Crews with talent are gonna win the season and bring in more viewers. Crews like Poreotics, Flex Flave, Electrolytes, and Lost Kids had everything going for them but didnt make it. Unique crews in the past like Breaksk8 and Ringmasters were different but not very entertaining. This season will probably be a disappointment.
