If wal-mart does all types of styles so can jcpenny. Wal-Mart has black and white cosmetologists and they do all types of hair. In beauty school they let white girls do black hair and black girls do white hair to explore diversity. If you're a cosmetologists and can't do certain types of hair then you're in the wrong profession. Why didn't they say ''i just don't want to do your hair'' that would have been better. saying that they can't do it........is a lie.

However, the dyes used to darken graying hair are a standard formula that works for fine, coarse, and other hair textures.. For touching up graying hair, no extra special procedures are required guys. The same products used for fine hair can also be used for black hair. Likely the JCPenny worker was not aware of that. Guys, I hate the "race card"games, but in this case JCPenny really did dropped the ball.

Professional cosmetologist are supposed to be trained in all textures of hair and all basic procedures. I don't give a damn if it was only one black person in the town with three strands of hair, there should be someone there to serve them. Especially at a major chain like JcPenny. I would sue.

It doesn't take any more technical proficiency to dye one hair texture as opposed to any other. The store manager admitted the problem, without rectifying it. They deserve to be sued.

I believe its quite obvious that the hair of Black people is different than everyone else's. I don't see how this is racist if she was refused service because they didn't specialize in African American hair. Now because they didn't feel they were apt enough to do African American hair, they simply denied her. If a Car Mechanic doesn't do European cars, would that be also racist? wtfyouve got to be kidding me. Is this not 2008? Right it doesnt take special skill to dye someones hair black or white or whatever. Only twice have I had my hair dyed in my life and one of my two experiences I had a white girl dye my hair before so come on you dont have to do much or anything extra special really to dye a black persons hair. I hope she gets paid. That letter is straight BS.I repeat you do not have to do nothing extra special to dye a black persons hair.
