My mother saw a royal blue aura around a tree in our backyard, which had two shafts of auric light of the same color shooting off into the sky. What does that mean?
i used to be able to see figures. shadow people maybe? but it always creeped me out. they were very clear and I could only see them when it was dark. Thank goodness that went away. I also see this white arms and hands it appears to be, reaching out for me when i close my eyes and meditate. Tho i havent figured out if that is normal and eyes are just playing tricks on me. Also seeing 111 everyday several times a day lately.
When I've been meditating and I finish and open my eyes I see energy rippling out from my body, it looks like heat haze you see in the desert...I don't know if it's my actual aura because it has no colour but it's definitely energy coming from me and it's pretty cool either way.
I love going to parks and hanging out outdoors. Now that you mention it I deff used to see auras around my hands and stuff when I was younger, it really is so cool. Can we hang out one day? I would love to learn more.
My aura is usually always light blue. But once it was both blue and green in it and once blue and purple. When I look at the moon I always see a purple-ish blue aura.

I don't know how to describe it, but you will be able to control it's aura with your pupil, and your breathing/(frequency?), it is incredible and possibly you will be able to communicate with the owls, please try it, I am the only one who can do this and people think I am crazy!

I've been able to see auras on trees, people, animals, myself, etc. for years. The color on my hands are usually a bluish green. I've also saw the color yellow and red on my hands...all the colors of the rainbow. I can see energy moving too if I stare a long time in different places. It darts around and moves like water. It's not my eyes playing tricks on me. Have been "sensitive" to many things for most of my life.

Your on the right track, keep doing what your doing your sences will progress , everything has an aura , this is because everything has life as crazy as it sounds it is truth, blue is good,, try leaving your breath in limbo at times don't focus to much on it , its like when you catch yourself daydreaming ,the breath is usually in limbo no defined starting point and no defined ending point.When you notice this stir the emotions in the lower donjon eventually that emotion hits th heart and beyond.
Beware not to mistake light-imprint on the eye retina with 'auras'. If you are seeing REAL auras, the tree's energy field should not bypass much its actual physical shape while in human, it should be the roughly width of two hands stretched sidewise and one hand extended above the head...

I don't see aura's (colours), but I do see what looks like heat energy coming off of people and trailing in whispy flame like waves as they walk. I can see this clearly around my hands.
Although I don't dismiss the existence of auras, I do want to point out that this sounds like a phenomenon that occurs when chemicals are dissolve in our eyes. We usually see the oppose color when looking away from an object. This is why FortJB7 might have seen blue after staring at a mango. And dark brown tree trunks would show a whitish color. Stare at a red square for a minute and then look at a white wall, you will see a blue/green color. =]
DUDE I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT its like you see the tree or person but you would see like .... there outline a little bit off there body as well if that makes any sense :P
When I was in elementary school (grades 1-3), whenever I'd look at something for a minute, its shape would disappear. People's faces would disappear completely, and then they'd start morphing into different faces. It kept me entertained whenever it happened!

okay so today , i got a mango and put it against a white wall and i saw its aura . it took like 10 minutes , and now i can see the clear white light around living objects . it's what i usually see mostly , and the aura is extremely faint , but when i really focused and blurred my vision for a long time in front of the mango , i saw a really pretty light blue around it . is that what i'm supposed to see ? do you have any advice for me ? because i'm really interested in being able to see auras !
@kellymariespencer It means that it's alive and has an energy signature. A soul? I guess you can call the auric energy it's soul, however it does not have a consciousness as it's purpose is to feed us, so don't feel bad about eating it >_<

@MzmlW yeah, the white u are seeing is the very first layer of the aura, with practice you will begin to see other colors layered on top of the white. most people can eventually see the first three layers.
@SuckMyKiss420 Hey, yknow like the next day after seeing the white and making that comment that you replied to, i jus sat there and tried again, i got so deep into it and focused to much into it my vision went into an orange tint and i started breathing REAL slow, in equal long intervals of breathing in and out really slow, The breathing stuff was unintentional.

i think i was able to see chi being emitted from everything :|... i havent tried this in like a month im too scared to do it. the first time i did it i could only see white glow a few millimeters from my skin and i didnt start breathing wierd. bt the nex time i saw n felt different.
Sometimes its easier to see human aura's when looking at them with a white wall in back of them. Or at least.......I tend to see them a bit more easily.

its just optics. its nothing supernatural. if i stare at one spot on the ground for long enough it begins to look as if its breathing, but its just an illusion because youre focussing your eyes in a way that your mind isnt used to perceiving. if your eyes were naturally focussed like that youd see "auras" all the time. and if you could focus your eyes to see things how you see them now it would look more shady (perhaps).

I saw - stared at for a while my friends aura and it was mind blowingly beautiful alien and complex, multi faceted and incredible far beyond what I would have imagined before seeing it.
@Akzimo vague optical illusions or even vivid hallucinations are not exactly "self collected evidence". for starters, youre not collecting anything. and theres definately nothing evident about it because its a subjective experience, thats as far as it goes. its like people who claim theyve seen the virgin mary. im not saying they arent honestly convinced, but it doesnt make it true (so far as it being anything more than a hallucination)
@turquoise88 its been tested. a reader stood on 1 side of a room with a partition separating her from a number of slots which contained people or mannequins & failed to identify the slots containing people, incorrectly stating that all contained people. In another test a reader was infront of a partition where 5 people were standing & claimed he could see the auras from behind the partition. As each person moved out the reader was asked to identify where they were standing & got 2 out of 5 right
@turquoise88 & theres no consistency in what the colours actually mean. different "specialists" have said different things. you get colours that mean more than one thing, or different colours that can mean the same thing. the descriptions are usually as vague as horoscopes so the chances are that even if people do see auras for whatever reason it probably doesnt mean anything spiritual. even if all the readers agreed that the same colours meant the same thing theres still no real way to prove it
@Akzimo illusions arent always vague, some people have vivid hallucinations. theres a difference between collecting & collecting EVIDENCE. im not saying people dont see or think they see auras, im just saying its a subjective experience, there isnt a way to prove whether or not its an internal or external influence. which needs to be taken in to consideration beause if it is internal then it could just be your imagination. if 2 people can see the same thing differently its not an ultimate truth.
@ambervisions no its actually been disproven (so far), as ive already mentioned in a previous comment. i understand the concept but there havent been any substantial results. even the colours have different meanings depending on the "reader", and the meanings are very vague. im not saying auras dont exist, i just dont think people can "read" them. theyre about as credible as star signs as a means of determining a persons state of being. its nonsense! seeing auras and reading them arent the same!
The best way to see the Auras .. is do the way you are saying - But after the 10 minutes of staring - you need to look at the trees and try to have them clear of anything else - and with just a blue backround ( sky with no clouds) . that is the best way to see them .
i see a white silvery aura around trees with millions of silvery like dots within it moving rapidly i cant see auras around anything else just trees with leaves on not bare trees either.

i can only see tree auras its a silver glow around the edges of a tree in full leaf, i cant see an aura around them when the leaves have fallen off, in the glow looks like billions of silver fireflies rapidly vibrating, i dont know anyone else who can see it.

I've been looking (or trying) at boring relatives auras since I was 18, I'm now 29. I did 2 years at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. The first workshop I went on there I saw what I thought was light above all these patterns on the carpet lol. Half an hour of meditating under a oak tree in marsh land area. interesting that I happened across this video. I haven't bothered looking for auras for years now. About 22 years ago I decided to put my efforts into the physical world rather than working to expand my metaphysical abilities. During that time I did make some progress & some of the results are still with me. One is that I can see the first layer, about 1/8 inch away from the skin, along with a dim light that shines through it. Sometimes I see a bit of color. Mine is gray with just a bit of blue.
The intuition I honed in those days is still with me as well. I think it's part of what makes me such a good mechanic.
I don't really work on the paranormal side these days though. I'm more concerned with preparing for the difficult economic times I see headed our way. I started getting ready in 2007 and I've made huge progress. In 3 months my mortgage will be paid off along with the last bit of my debt. If I had to I could be comfortable on minimum wage. That's my main focus these days.

I love this topic, and I can already see it's a hot one - a lot of comments back and forth. I actually do the same thing though! I can usually see tree auras, especially when it's light and sunny outside (they're just glowing 1-3 inches or so outside of the bark). I've asked friends if they can see it every once in awhile, but it's usually a big "no" ;) I do actually see them on people too, but much less often (it's always an eye-opening experience when I do)

YAY, someone else that sees tree energy! I am not able to see people's...yet, but do observe energy from the mountains. Another thing is I can see the energy matrix in the air, that took awhile to figure out what I was seeing.

I've been trying so hard to see my own aura after having had it photographed that I'd never thought about trees. Yes, they are living organisms, and anything that utilises energy has an aura up to the point of death. More reasons to go and play outside, eh?
AURAS? AHAHAHA! I hope you guys realize that trees are nothing but fast moving atoms - as are all objects and things, the only reason we can think is because our brains have neurons which move really fast, so if plants have auras so would chairs. Those are not auras you see when you stare at them for a long time but rather a 'miscalculation' in your brain because of the light that it is exposed to.
Everything does have an aura to a certain extent. It's just things in a higher vibration like a tree rather than a rock , have a greater energy field so they are visible to the human eye. There are those who can see everything in energy. the more dense a thing is the slower the vibration and the less life, less energy field.
You see colours if you look at something for about 10 minutes because your eyes are getting tired. Some people see colours all the time, 1 in 2000 people have this dissorder where there brain connects wrong impulses, for example some people, when you say "Tuesday" they automatically think "yellow" and some people have this in the vision. @GodOfTheInternets I know many people who can see you aura and can tell when you are lying. You don't don't have to speak a word and they will read your energy field like page of a book in less than 10 seconds. It is a science and you can learn it too. Even scientist have proven that there are auras and that a human can see the. The pineal gland in the middle of the brain is like an eyeball with a lens. Science:get with it. And stop making up stuff
maybe some people's auras are just them realizingg you are using your eyes in a most unusual way aka staring at them so they are like uhm well im going to move a little to hoopefully recognize what the hell you are attempting to do... that would be a bad aura becasue they'd feel threatened... a good aura would be someone who invites your staring contest and excels with your crazy looking practices
when you stare at something the cones in your eyes retinas dull and its so hard to stay focused on the same exact point that when your sight shifts to a longer/shorter left/right veiw you then see an outline of everythingt you were looking at because the cones have been acustomed to the colors... you need to learn more physics

Also, did any of your family members share the same ability as you? Did they understand where you were coming from, or were you more independent of their experiences/views?
I'm mostly Finnish, a bit Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English & Iroquois Indian, although a lot people, when they meet me in person think I'm part Asian. A lot of Fins have a slight Asian look because way back in the day, Mongolians made their way to Finland. So I guess if you go waaaaaaay back, I've got a little bit of Mongolian blood in me. My whole family is very intuitive and spiritual. My mom can see auras & most of the people in my family are open minded- and spiritual.
how can this be true,when darker genes are dominate to lighter ones? surely in that period of time the majority of the country would be darkskinned non blue eyed individuals~??
That's misinformation that some people want to believe.
The general rule for mixed race children is that they will be darker than the light parent and lighter than the dark parent. If human life began in Africa and the dark gene theory was true, how have we got so many white people in the world! After all, if the black gene was dominant, it would long since have displaced the white gene, and absolutely white could not come out of any sort of mix.

Yes, I've read all 3 books! I found vibrational medicine an easy read actually... but I've been exposed to quantum physics/ vibrational/ energy medicine for a while now. :)

When I started reading and understanding how everything is truly one in an energetic sense I eventually started seeing auras around people without even trying. Once I stopped listening to myself and chose a wrong route in life it stopped until I got back on track. Although it is not yet as powerful as before, it has returned what with my new path. I found obsessing for it does not help... relax....... and you can go further.
Absolutely! I find that as long as I'm doing things that bring me joy (connecting to my source) and going with the flow of life rather than trying to swim upstream, everything in life is effortless.

Beware not to mistake light-imprint on the eye retina with 'auras'. If you are seeing REAL auras, the tree's energy field should not bypass much its actual physical shape while in human, it should be the roughly width of two hands stretched sidewise and one hand extended above the head...

Although I don't dismiss the existence of auras, I do want to point out that this sounds like a phenomenon that occurs when chemicals are dissolve in our eyes. We usually see the oppose color when looking away from an object. This is why FortJB7 might have seen blue after staring at a mango. And dark brown tree trunks would show a whitish color. Stare at a red square for a minute and then look at a white wall, you will see a blue/green color. =]

okay so today , i got a mango and put it against a white wall and i saw its aura . it took like 10 minutes , and now i can see the clear white light around living objects . it's what i usually see mostly , and the aura is extremely faint , but when i really focused and blurred my vision for a long time in front of the mango , i saw a really pretty light blue around it . is that what i'm supposed to see ? do you have any advice for me ? because i'm really interested in being able to see auras !

@MzmlW yeah, the white u are seeing is the very first layer of the aura, with practice you will begin to see other colors layered on top of the white. most people can eventually see the first three layers.

I Learned When I went into my Bathroom and Turned all of the Lights off.. With closed eyes I took deep breaths after a moment the entire Bathroom light up in Green my aura was very green after that it touched me so deeply that I went on a long streak of research and meditative astral experiences. its just optics. its nothing supernatural. if i stare at one spot on the ground for long enough it begins to look as if its breathing, but its just an illusion because youre focussing your eyes in a way that your mind isnt used to perceiving. if your eyes were naturally focussed like that youd see "auras" all the time. and if you could focus your eyes to see things how you see them now it would look more shady (perhaps).

@turquoise88 & theres no consistency in what the colours actually mean. different "specialists" have said different things. you get colours that mean more than one thing, or different colours that can mean the same thing. the descriptions are usually as vague as horoscopes so the chances are that even if people do see auras for whatever reason it probably doesnt mean anything spiritual. even if all the readers agreed that the same colours meant the same thing theres still no real way to prove it

interesting that I happened across this video. I haven't bothered looking for auras for years now. About 22 years ago I decided to put my efforts into the physical world rather than working to expand my metaphysical abilities. During that time I did make some progress & some of the results are still with me. One is that I can see the first layer, about 1/8 inch away from the skin, along with a dim light that shines through it. Sometimes I see a bit of color. Mine is gray with just a bit of blue.

I love this topic, and I can already see it's a hot one - a lot of comments back and forth. I actually do the same thing though! I can usually see tree auras, especially when it's light and sunny outside (they're just glowing 1-3 inches or so outside of the bark). I've asked friends if they can see it every once in awhile, but it's usually a big "no" ;) I do actually see them on people too, but much less often (it's always an eye-opening experience when I do)

maybe some people's auras are just them realizingg you are using your eyes in a most unusual way aka staring at them so they are like uhm well im going to move a little to hoopefully recognize what the hell you are attempting to do... that would be a bad aura becasue they'd feel threatened... a good aura would be someone who invites your staring contest and excels with your crazy looking practices

when you stare at something the cones in your eyes retinas dull and its so hard to stay focused on the same exact point that when your sight shifts to a longer/shorter left/right veiw you then see an outline of everythingt you were looking at because the cones have been acustomed to the colors... you need to learn more physics

Hey, Leija, what is your ethnicity if you don't mind me asking? In this video it looks like you have more diversity. Very cute (not hitting on you lol). Also, did any of your family members share the same ability as you? Did they understand where you were coming from, or were you more independent of their experiences/views?

I'm mostly Finnish, a bit Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English & Iroquois Indian, although a lot people, when they meet me in person think I'm part Asian. A lot of Fins have a slight Asian look because way back in the day, Mongolians made their way to Finland. So I guess if you go waaaaaaay back, I've got a little bit of Mongolian blood in me. My whole family is very intuitive and spiritual. My mom can see auras & most of the people in my family are open minded- and spiritual.

how can this be true,when darker genes are dominate to lighter ones? surely in that period of time the majority of the country would be darkskinned non blue eyed individuals~??

That's misinformation that some people want to believe.
The general rule for mixed race children is that they will be darker than the light parent and lighter than the dark parent. If human life began in Africa and the dark gene theory was true, how have we got so many white people in the world! After all, if the black gene was dominant, it would long since have displaced the white gene, and absolutely white could not come out of any sort of mix.

Way of the Peaceful Warior and Celestine Prophecy books were all good. If you are interested in learning the "science" of how energy works and other spiritual methods; check out Vibrational Medicine. It is a tough read (needs patience and rereading at times) but so interesting as it explains a lot of how things work. Tonnes of insight... Anyhow, nice to see similar people on here!

Yes, I've read all 3 books! I found vibrational medicine an easy read actually... but I've been exposed to quantum physics/ vibrational/ energy medicine for a while now. :)

When I started reading and understanding how everything is truly one in an energetic sense I eventually started seeing auras around people without even trying. Once I stopped listening to myself and chose a wrong route in life it stopped until I got back on track. Although it is not yet as powerful as before, it has returned what with my new path. I found obsessing for it does not help... relax....... and you can go further.

Absolutely! I find that as long as I'm doing things that bring me joy (connecting to my source) and going with the flow of life rather than trying to swim upstream, everything in life is effortless.
