overclock you procesor ....e6600 is only 2.4 ght and you have 7 fans in your case (i saw your gaming rig video)......you can overclock it to 2.8ghz without any problem

You need QTP3, Real Lights, Depth of Field, Realistic Flora 1&2, Enhanced Water and couple of more mods. Then the graphics are 10x better. :) It runs fine on your machine with them as well.

Without mods it'll run @ really high FPS everything maxed, even on higher resolutions. I have Intel C2D E6750, 4GB RAM and a 8800GT and it runs @ 35-300fps. :) The worst performance is at Anvil docks as far as I know.

furz1- I am running an 8800 GTS 512 on an Antec trio 430 watts and I can max everything. Its not so much the wattage your psu says it hits but the quality of the psu. Try to get one with at least two twelve volt rails for added stability(three is best) make sure it feels heavy, has overload etc. protection, doesn't seem cheaply made, and can deliver 36 or more amps @12V. Remember you can't just add the different amp ratings on the multiple 12V rails, the max amps over 12V is usually less

CRT's are NOT better. I have been using CRT's for 10 years and ALL of them have become dark after a few years. Secondly LCD's are easier on your eyes since you aren't pounded by radiation every second. Finally they are much more portable and don't weigh a ton. LCD>CRT

He mentions his framerates on a different Oblivion video, I'd say his framerates are 20-50 in Oblivion most of the time, with an average of 35... but 1600x1200 and 16x AA isn't needed, even on the 21" monitor he's using. I'm getting C2DE6600, 8800GTS 640mb soon, going to run 1440x900 and 4-6x AA on a 19" monitor, and that'll be enough to get rid of most jagged lines. All current games will run great like that.
