  • ok i agree with the guy who said explosion couldn't reach ravenholm, even with that powerful a reactor theres no way the explosion could have gotten that far out of c17. Not to mention it would have to be like 2 nukes worth o power

  • No the Blast went past City 17's Outer walls so it went farther

  • epic...

  • seeing that beatuiful citadel go to waste at the end of episode 1 nearly made me cry

:'( Farewell to the most epic building ever!

  • this should've been how EP1 ended!

  • the map's called ep2_citadel_destroy and avalable at garrysmod.)org

  • @Bluedino549 I have that map!

  • haha me too ^^

  • OMG! Itz GMOD! Not EP2!

  • You're an idiot. It IS Episode 2.

  • And not laughing!

  • Actually never mind, you're a troll.

  • I dont get it, in Half-Life 2 Episode 2, the Citadel is blowed away, so... this "MUST" be EP 1, or just regular HL2...

  • It's a custom map, it's just being ran in Ep2.

  • Oh, okey then, my misstake :P

  • haha cool =D

  • DAMN!

  • OMG

  • i just like thinking if the exsplosion was that big that it could tear the citedel into little piaces nothing in city 17 would have been left alive right?

  • exactly, doctorduck, in fact it was so destructive that it blew up Ravenholm too

Grigori died because of the citadel D:

  • oh god no D:

  • It's almost impossible that Ravenholm was destroyed.

Gordon covered several miles in the sewers, locks, canals, and rivers by foot and airboat before even reaching Black Mesa East. Ravenholm was farther still. By contrast, the city limits to the north are very close to the Citadel, and the escape train covered only a short open stretch before being derailed by a comparatively gentle shockwave. Ravenholm may have sustained some tremor and debris damage but it is a ruin anyway.

  • agree with that

  • Yes but with almost everything else destroyed theres no telling what kind of hell Grigori will be facing now...

  • Time for hunting again... XD

  • I think Grigori has died when you left him to fight a horde of zombies:( HE WAS A TRUE HERO !!!

  • @ppitm He was zigzagging all the time. While train went like 120Km/H straight.

  • @ppitm Oh, and he started his journey from the edge of the city, and went all the way to the other side, and walked out of it through the canals, while train was at the edge of the city and just went straight.

  • @spy96 When the citadel exploded, it was towering over the train. When Gordon was only halfway to Black Mesa East, it was out of sight over the horizon. The shockwave did not extend far past the city limits, and the city extends farther south than north.

  • @ppitm So? Train is pretty damn fast, and you rided it for like 2 minutes.

  • @spy96 So if you can see the citadel in one place and survived easily, then there is no way the explosion harmed a location where the citadel is far out of sight. You can see plenty of large buildings that survived in City 17 in the first EP 2 map. The explosion couldn't have damagde Ravenholm at all.

  • @ppitm Father grigori(monk,it's his real name,found in the files)died D:

  • @dev02ify Err, says you.

  • Awesome map!Plz gimme it man!

  • map?

  • whats this map called ?

  • citadelanim.bsp I can't find nowhere!

  • xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • That was cool

  • Nvm I already found the map.

  • Could you maybe release this little map?

  • That is quite awesome.
