Wait. Why did the prototype version look like it was running better than the final? Neorex, you're supposed to release the final build, not the prototype. Game development: YOU DID IT WRONG.

They have debug information in the corner with Y used for vertical elevation instead of Z.

Here, it looks slightly better, as the graphics are improved a bit, and the action is much faster.

Why the final release had all possible potential for success completely drained out of it, haven't a fucking clue.

Game Players was a great magazine ... before they took the humor out when Ultra Game Players was introduced. Cosmic Race ... shine on you crazy diamond!

I know. It looks like they were trying to make a racing game, but then the engine glitched out of control and they decided to make a game out of that.

lol, Game Player's review for cosmic race was the BEST! I've never actually seen footage of it before, man does it look awful.

It may sound odd, but having played the non Beta version, I have to think it actually looked better BEFORE it was completed.

I have this game and actually beat it :), It has a very surreal feel to it. Sure it's not technically good at all, but it's unique!
