  • @DaDa2Phlux And they were a Frisco band. This is probably an arrangement they'd already had worked out before the British Invasion.

  • one person is sad....

  • He has an amazing voice

  • this is my favorite brummels song

  • Actually, I should have said Zal Yanovsky, not Sal. Great, versatile guitarist. I don't believe anyone ever had as much fun performing as did Zal.

  • They're referring to Sal Valentino, BB's lead singer, not Sal Yanovsky of the Lovin' Spoonful. There is a passing resemblance there, though.

  • @skipvia No you mean Zal (shortened from Zalman) I don't feel they look anything alike but also Zal passed on in 2004 or so.

  • @moxie96 NO, the lead singer here is Sal Valentino and the group is The Beau Brummels, Tou're confusing him with Zal (nee Zalman) Yanovsky, guitarist from The Lovin' Spoonful.

  • The Beau Brummels at their best. "Sad Little Girl", penned by leader Ron Elliott, was the b-side to their final Autumn 45, "Good Time Music", written by John Sebastian of the Lovin' Spoonful.

  • Sal was a good lookin' stud in those days. He can and still is singing.Beau Brummels were vastly underrated.. The oldies stations play some of their music to this day.

  • lyrics anyone please?

  • Rare

  • I think the producers of Shindig were trying to make this clip very Beatle like ...well why not everyone in those days were coping the Beatles.

Great song from a great band.

  • The Beau Brummels, the fifth wheel of the folk-rock cart. The others were:

The Byrds, The Lovin' Spoonful, Simon & Garfunkel and The Mamas & The Papas.
