Last second win, you know, that's one of the reasons I love Daytona. Often in a race, stuff happens that you were definitely not ready to.

Yet if anyone is interested in the arcade PCB, ask PEA80. But I suggest that you use the emulator, since its easy to download, and you won't need a lot of electricity to use it.

Got a question, what are you playing that with? A USB Steering wheel or something? I wouldn't think you could play easily with a keyboard...

It's a Logitech G25 steering wheel, complete with a gear shift, emulator's choice for Daytona :)

Yes, but an arcade PCB would work better (not that the emulator sucks). As for the keyboard driving, yes it is very hard to control a 330 km/h Hornet car when drifting, and on a high-speed apex. When drifting, it's very hard to countersteer.

While on a high-speed apex, this really happens in real life, it's harder to control because the car is moving so fast the wheels turning would never reach its maximum turning.

If you set difficulty to EASY,

Time will be increase.

Well there is no good time at the moment, it's just lurk and see who pops up. In the meantime you want to test it and make sure it works. Can do this by setting yiurself as master, and inserting your own net ip in the first line of the dev.cmd file, it should connect as one player.

Pretty cool. I'm sure the ultimate goal would be eight-player racing, right? The action seems to run very nicely except for kind of the jerking motion of other cars (especially around and after Lap 6). Since blue is my favorite color, I'm glad to see a blue car leading. Pretty cool.

I've made an account on SpekSNK(username is Ace), expect to see me there either Friday or Saturday at around 11AM to 12PM Eastern Time. I have certain conditions:

1) I MUST be driving the blue #2 Hornet

2) BEGINNER TRACK IS NOT ALLOWED! I've had too many people challenge me there. Please choose Expert if possible.

Also, what happens if our Daytona USA setup has a different difficulty setting(I set mine to Hard)? And what video capture tool do you use to take videos? I will record the run.

Only problem with "real players only" is that some of the CPU cars would still be on the track before starting the race either on-line or via LAN. As this may affect ur chances of winning as u have to move round the stopped CPU cars. :(

well i have tried multiplayer with just 1 computer with multiple emulators running, and there are purple computer-controlled cars on the road

It is a majority choice, if using 2 players, both must hold start to force the RPO.

RPO will remove the purple cars and minimize bandwidth requirements, it is recommended.
