Good on ya buddy. I was a door man ( i never answered to bouncer) in Montreal in the 80's. Love was my personal motto and diplomacy was my work ethic. Resistance was futile.Peace.
I just dont take anything british seriously looks like a jocke to me how the fuck am i gonna be respected from a douche that sounds like Harry Potter???
Thanks for bringing some professionalism to this job , I got out of it here.It seemed like everybody I was working with watched roadhouse and were just looking for an excuse to beat the hell out of people.I spent three days talking to the police at their station because a drunk NOT WORKING bouncer one night slammed a guy into the pavement and put him in a coma for a week , so good training and common sense needs to be brought to this job.Irony was the guy was leaving on his own after we talked.
That's true. At strips clubs in Vegas, there are always a few bouncers with chips on their shoulders who are ready to fight if they see the smallest problem with anything. They are not usually liked by the dancers, so they walk around mad and edgy. The boss should fire them. They cause more friction than they cure.
Your absolutely right, bouncers start more fights than they stop. I've been jumped by bouncers for simply wearing a gold chain into a club. A simple thin chain with a Crucifix at that, nothing huge and flashy. The bouncers ended up assaulting me when I asked for my credit card before leaving. I got a public intox ticket and the one who put me in a rear naked choke got a broken foot and sprained ankle.
Wish places like this would teach these punks around here to be civil to avoid bar fights.
