I think it's pretty funny actually that he hasn't improved after all these years! He does OK on "Kite" though in the Slane Castle vid. And for all his lack in guitar skills, he MORE than makes up for it in vocal prowess, wizardry, and epic-ness

Yeah, I've always noticed that. In fact, it's worse on the Adelaide recording... his guitar playing is usually really good, and he's a good guitar player, so I'm not sure what's up with these two renditions.
i dunno, what's with bono here. he seems like he's had a bad day. if it's insecurity he shouldn't be, i think he has a beautiful voice with and without the effects. but ive heard him with just the edge and an acoustic guitar he seemed fine there and his vioce was great. i agree with loslobos2101, he just doesnt want to be there. or it could be he's enjoying listen to it. i cant tell.
