  • I did port forwarding for a lorex dvr but its not as easy as it seems, I have had unique programming depending on the software, i had worked with at&t modems, comcast, diffeent programs and I still dont know all the programs,.. I still have questions, but I have noticed that you have to keep in mind your computer, antivirus software, dvr software and check for errors when installing all this on the machine..

  • @paperassets You should contact the DVR's manufacturer for tech support. If you had our product, I would give you a checklist to complete so that you can view your DVR remotely.

  • Our Hybrid (IP and Analog) Hardware-Compressed DVRs and DVR cards have the ability to output to up to 4 monitors using the HDMI outputs on your video graphics card(s). You don't need an IP DVR unless you want to use IP cameras, but you can use our Hybrid DVRs as well. You can output your DVR interface via HDMI. You can also use our new HD-SDI DVR card, which will record each camera in 720p or 1080p resolution, and you could output this via VGA, DVI, or HDMI.
