this machine is the biggest piece of junk that i have ever owned. the wheels constantly get clogged and stuck. Ariens didn't want to hear anything of it, once the warranty ended i was on my own. a complete waste of close to a thousand bucks!!! Stay away!!!!!
honda self propelledHru216 have bushes in the rear wheels instead of bearings too, the gearboxes break and the engines are underpowered. but I do like my honda. lol
well in australia a honda commercial lawn mower costs nearly 2300 dollars.
even a "commercial quality" honda HRU 216 is 1300 to 1700 and they need some modifications to cope with mowing daily, such as better blades and tinkering with the governor to get them to cut grass half decent.
The Honda HRX217K2HXA compared tio the Ariens Pro21 are vastly different machines. Honda makes great commercial mowers but the Honda HRX217K2HXA is not considered a commercial mower. The Ariens Pro 21 is much better than the Honda HRX217K2HXA for commerical use.
Nice mower. For 50.00 dollars less you can buy a Honda HRX217K2HXA which has more features plus 5 yr warranty vs 2 yr Ariens warranty. The Honda also has a superior cut.
