After it he will turn into a snake and you just need to unleash your sword at his shining tail. then you get the last Crystal Maiden. loser

I'm stuck after reading that clue about a solid object being able to determine which of the blanks in Nayru's Bay are pits & which aren't. I'm glad there's this walkthrough, but I'm going to try & figure it out on my own.

I've been playing this game over the last week. I have to commend the people who hacked ALttP. There are some areas where you could get stuck between a wall & a palm tree & have to reset, but the game is overall very well done. I'm on Nayru's Bay now & am stuck after getting the Hammer. So I left the dungeon & used the Hammer to access the rest of the Guardhouse & got the Mushroom from it. I took it to the witch & got the powder.
quick question about this game everytime I die and I choose to save and continue it always sends me back to the beginning with all my items and hearts lost it basically resets my data is there anyway around this im playing on a Wii SnesGX emulator btw
@mustymuf The only place you have the opportunity to save is after you recieve the sword from the Guardhouse. Saving or dieing anytime before you reach the sword will only send you back to the beginning of the game.

A ROM in this case refers to the actual data file for the game. A hacked ROM means that someone changed some of the game's data for fun (i.e. using a level editor like Hyrule Magic) to make the game different. It's not something you would ever find in stores.
ALttP should have an extra this difficult, but the amount of fucking backtracking in PW was a bitch. And yes, I've completed it, it was insanely hard first time round. After playing this, going back to complete ALttP felt like a complete joke. And to think people find the original hard...

quick question about this game everytime I die and I choose to save and continue it always sends me back to the beginning with all my items and hearts lost it basically resets my data is there anyway around this im playing on a Wii SnesGX emulator btw

@mustymuf The only place you have the opportunity to save is after you recieve the sword from the Guardhouse. Saving or dieing anytime before you reach the sword will only send you back to the beginning of the game.

I'm sorry, but this hack is a piece of shit. I would rate the difficulty of this game as "mental illness". Even with save states it's IMPOSSIBLE. I have beaten Zelda 1 and 2, w/o save states and it's nothing compared to this crap. I don't see why I should be playing a game so annoying, really, what's the point? I hav made it to the ice fortress and I challenge anyone to tell me how am I supposed to beat the boss there (the frozen eye) because I stilll haven't seen a video beating it.

probably because they are compressed. You have to decompress all the graphics and then reinsert them first.

A ROM in this case refers to the actual data file for the game. A hacked ROM means that someone changed some of the game's data for fun (i.e. using a level editor like Hyrule Magic) to make the game different. It's not something you would ever find in stores.

ALttP should have an extra this difficult, but the amount of fucking backtracking in PW was a bitch. And yes, I've completed it, it was insanely hard first time round. After playing this, going back to complete ALttP felt like a complete joke. And to think people find the original hard...
