  • awes0me~~~

  • Is it just me or does this sound like it's in a lower key than the album version? Also the drummer looks...um, unusual with the way he hits the hi-hat, and I don't know what Richard was thinking ending the song with that singing at 4:48...XD Don't get me wrong, though, I like Hard-Fi and I'm going to see them in September...should be good :-D

  • someone needs to do an acoustic lesson for this song :(

  • someone needs to guitar lesson for this song :(

  • Awesome song!

  • Great tune, but how have Hard fi got where they have with lead vocals like that?? pants...

  • that drummer holds his sticks in a special way...its like he bends his wrist alot xD but great song and drummer! lol

  • Is that Nick Fyffe on the bass?? :O

  • I've just noticed that myself... Jamiroquai are my favourite band, I didn't know he moved onto Hard-Fi!!

  • This song is fucking awesome!!

  • Buenisma calidad!!!

  • is he stoned? wth...

  • nice song,loved the first album,but the 2nd 1 wasnt that good

  • shame Kai couldnt get into the county to play on this

  • cooool!!

  • lol like the way he took the mick outta dat song!

  • who?

  • its not in london full stop

  • its not in london full stop

  • parecido a Lenny Kravitz jajajaja pero muy buena música. No la había escuhado antes

  • staines isnt in west london

  • yes it is , more or less bang on west london.

  • nope its not its in middlesex

  • just to set the argument straight, this proves that no matter what shit provincial town you're from, you will always get a group of lads that have had it hanging around in bus shelters and decide to start a band. hard fi are just typical of any "real" band, social poverty and most of all boredom have ignited genius, morrisey, ian brown..........course lately arctic monkeys! you can't teach this stuff in schools.

  • @poshhammers like it mate, true what you say/1!!!!

  • Was wondering where Kai was and then read that this was before he got his visa. This band rock gh7432, I don't think anyone can call them manufactured...shall I buy you a dictionary cause their far from it!

  • is it karaoke night? lmao

  • Could not agree more ws2978, hard-fi are the exact opposite of a manufactured band. They met each other randomly, and they write and produce albums based entirely from their own experiences. The whole "get out of staines" thing is true for anyone living in two bit towns, ie "we're from here so we can say its shit" but theyre still proud of their hometown and thats why they still live there, bottom line is they rock!

  • in a recent interview the lead singer boasts how even though they have made it he still lives in the same house in staines.. yet at the start of this song he declares this is about getting out of staines... Hardfi are nothing more than manufactured pop muppets who cant sing live for shit...... I'm finished with them for good....

  • gh7432 You take his words too literally. I have lived my whole life in Staines, to me this song is about getting out of the monotony of this town (& any boring suburban town) & seeing the world (something I am doing soon) but it doesn't mean you can't still have a home here (I always will). I think they have done exactly that by becoming a success & touring the world: they got out of Staines! & how can you call a band manufactured when they wrote & produced their entire first album themselves?

  • your a dick mate,face it

  • Excellent!

  • I think that must be the gayest drummer I've ever seen in my life!

  • have they changed the bassist?where's kai?

  • nah. this was a gig from the US. Kai couldn't get a visa approved because of some outstanding conviction for possession of weed or something so they had to get a stand-in. Richard ended up wearing a 'Kai Stephens is innocent' t-shirt for most of their US tour :-)

  • Hard-Fi is made to play small gigs. I saw some performances on Summer Festivals and I was completely dissapointed. But look at this performance... awesome!

Hope they keep playing like this, only for the real fans, when the new cd comes out.

  • Could not agree more.

  • amazing live!

  • wat the hell is this somesort of free zone for chain mail go piss of u dicks and comment on the quality of hard-fi

  • put ur boots on...this is like the best live ive ever heard from hard-fi, fuckng amazing

  • "straight out of west london..just like a loaded gun"...fantastic song.

  • omg i love this band

  • this band is so cool

  • one of my favorites!!! love the vocalist... he's perfect!!!

  • I love him so much oh god..

  • they're like my new favorite band!

  • I almost freaked when I saw this video! I was at that show! It was great! I didn't even know that Hard-Fi was playing until my Brother and I walked by and saw the sign! Thatnks for whoever posted this...you made my year!

  • So jealous. This looks like the most solid gig ever. And it's the best quality recording of a gig I've seen on youtube.

  • It was really bad ass, I'm a huge fan of HardFi but at the time I had just started liking them. We were walking around Seattle (My Brother and I) and just popped into Easy Street for fun...and we got to see this show. It was amazing!
