I don' how they organised this project. Bit, with a really good project and advertisement it is possible to earn this money back from this city for a few years.
Belə şəhər-kompleksi tikməyə ilk növbədə Mingəçevir boyda elektrik stansiyası, Ceyranbatan boyda su təmizləyici qurğuları, Hövsandakı boyda kanalizasiya sularınının təmizləyən stansiya və daha yadıma düşməyən nə qədər sistemlər lazımdır. Bunlar tikilibmi? Yox! İnşaat işlərinə isə 100 (yüz)- lərlə bu işdə təcrübəsi olan və cəviyyəli tikinti və layihə şirkətləri lazımdır. Onları tapmaq və tenderləri təşkil etməyə qalaktika boyda göt lazımdır. Varmı? Yox! Bəsbunlar yoxdursa bu teatr nəyə lazımdır?
i can't understand why some people wright "these are bigger projects than our country"... i hope that everything will be and after we shall be PERFECT country in that time
@ratmtbola never thought of this as new working positions? Country is developing. im not living there , but from there originally. and I know if I go back there, Im guaranteed to have a good job, even though im not working in an oil industry
@Nigulable Well, who's gonna work in a tower like that? Rich executives, managers, CEO's ... no 'normal persons'. Most of the tower will probably be a luxury hotel / luxury apartments anyways. Not an office building.
And how does building a tower like this help creating jobs anyways? It doesn't. At all. Except for maybe a couple of construction workers...
@ratmtbola First, of course, construction workers. Second, this very building with hotels needs service personal, like waiters, cleaning stuff and so on. WHY is this good for other countries and met such a negative reaction in AZ-n? Let it grow!
@Nigulable This is good for no one and a total waste of time and money. With that kind of money this tower costs, you could create 10 times more jobs by investing in schools, universities or other sectors. And you'd not only create MORE jobs, but also BETTER jobs than badly paid construction workers or hotel employees.
@Huseynov550 True. But they also had a whole lot more money from oil than Azerbaijan has. A whole lot. And they didn't place a huge tower like this in the middle of nowhere, they placed it in the middle of Dubai, an already huge city with countless other huge towers and hotels. ;)
@ratmtbola You are living with old knowledge ;) Because of its oil, gas and railway its economy is growing extremely fast. Poverty stories are fairy-tailes just like americans believe in what they see in movies and, for example, they think that in my country, Lithuania, we experience such a great famine that we eat horses, that we are country one legged prostitutes and that gansgters shoot guns straight out of the cars while driving
@MrGoodfella666 It's you, my friend, who has little knowledge.
I'm aware that Azerbaijan is recently experiencing a big, oil driven, boom. But that doesn't change the fact that, in the countryside, people are still living under very poor conditions. As always, all the money they earn through the oil goes to maybe 1-2% of the population, the rest gets nothing. And that's a fact.
These impressive buildings ar nice to look at, but what great use do they have? I mean for serious. What the world needs aren't higher towers, but higher ideals! All the dumb arabic states should devote their ressources to education and technology, instead of this prestige.
will this 'great' project bring any REAL advantages for the people and the infrastructure of this country ? or will it just help a small group of rich and superrich people to become even more rich ? i doubt that this project will have positve effects on the country but only for the megalomaniac ego of a small elite.
Super - Duper !!! I hope it will be done !!! Вперед Азербайджан !!!

Азербайджанцы оказывается кроме всего прочего умеют еще делать красивые картинки и неплохую музыку а потом выкладывать это на Ютуб.
