The Dreamcast used a Peripheral while the Wii uses the Wiimote, the Wiimote has terrible motion controls and can't keep up with the fast Samba beat. Huh, I guess it's true, SEGA is better than Nintendo, WHO AGREES? SEGA is still making games, yes, which have been getting worse since the Dreamcast, but when you compare the Dreamcast to the Wii, obviously the Dreamcast is better, SEGA had motion controls FIRST, before Nintendo, and they did ten times better than Nintendo.

When people think of videogames, They think of mario, not sonic. 75% out of 25, anyway. And the Wii is the first motion control system, also, so yes, it might be alittle bad. As a Brasilian I'm not so offended as I am a little annoyed that there is more of a Mexican element than Brasilian, especially that there are only a few Brasilian songs in the game and a large number of Hispanic songs. It's still a fun game but they could have made it more Brasilian than Mexican. At least you can find it for real cheap. $5-$20 depending on where you go, those prices are also for brand new, not used by the way.

the 2 things that make a music/rythm game "great" are the setlist and the controls.The setlist is great,but the controls,IMO,just suck,making the game virtually unplayable,and a music/rythm game isn't worth shit if it's not playable.

oh,and BTW,how did you get to superhard mode on career?Is it becuase you like this game so much that you haven't noticed its flaws?

I got the game and now I'm thinking about picking up the maracas. I heard it works better with them. Can anyone confirm that? Also, the Wii Motes don't use the sensor bar to detect where you shake! What the fuck?! Is an accelerometer even designed for that? Over-exaggerated and very awkward tilting seem to get the right response, but I still can't get anything higher than a C on the hard levels.

I have this, it plays excellent. Even the Dreamcast version screwed up a lot. Keep the Wii motes aimed at the screen and you are fine. Go through the training and you should be fine. Beat it on Career Mode and only failed one song!

I actually played a beta version of the game at a Nintendo event, it was a really fun game but when it came to the nunchuck, it was high irresponsive, I had to almost throw it to register, but the wiimote worked fine
