like someone else has mentioned, they were being facetious with the remark "pretty much a lockdown that we're gonna win," AND THEN THEY DID. i bet they were so excited, and i'm happy for them. one of the few musical acts that truly deserves the level of notoriety and respect they've attained. bravo, arcade fire - your fans are celebrating right along with you!

It was a surprise for them to be at The Grammys but that was nothing compared to the surprise that was awaiting them on Sunday night. They had no idea that their album, "The Suburbs" would win the grammy for Best Album! They're a great band but sometimes I don't think they give themselves enough credit.

It's like Simon Cowell has often said about people like that, "The best part about them is they don't know how good they really are."
