@ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD Zakk is really good in BLS but not with OZZY. I think Gus G is a better guitarist... I think they are all amazing but they each are completely different guitarist's, people, act.
@MorphedMedia Dont get me wrong I think Zakk is a good guitarist however there are better guitarists out there. I am not really into BLS Zakks singing voice really irritates me.
@Sidragrosm I've been saying it for years. Ozzy rules! I've listened to this music nearly every week for years and never got bored or lost sight of the message.
Now that shit is funny!! I see i'm not the only one who came here because of the game! I had this song all set for someone last week. Still got it ready for the Bowl. GO PATS!!!
@BubbaZen10 somewhere outside of Las Vegas last I heard. Not doing music, recorded music, anymore. Also heard you can occasionally catch him playing for a local Vegas band every now and again.Don't know if this is true, just hearsay.
@musicman972 Yeah? That's a damn shame. The guy was (is) great. I loved Badlands, and when he was with Ozzy. I really like the way the guy plays. I hope he's not all dejected and shit and is happy where he's at. He gave a lot of people a lot of enjoyment, and no one can ever take that away from him.
This is a FANTASTIC song, actually one of Ozzy's best solo tracks along with "No More Tears" and "Hellraiser". The intro weaves pictures of darkness, so does Ozzy's great singing in the track.
may sound bad that i say im a HUGE ozzy fan. and this is the first time ive heard this.. as far as i no.. but hey im only 17 and still discovering!! this is a great find!! :)
@MrMEGAMIH i love playin on my theif/dark brotherhood toon... "shot in the dark".... then i get all happy and have to watch the movie of the same name.... with Peter Sellers..... somehow it makes sense.... still it does right now. nice to see a skyrim fan in a sea of call o duty culture. we can learn much from one another.
@MrMEGAMIH good to play skyrim with many musics..... man what an amazin video one could make... i am workin on that this summer.... gettin the programs.. mixin games with song, i think you get it. email me? davistimothy96@gmail.com... let me know. i wish to be creative. that is all. ;)
@jeffreytjenkins this+high school+listening tween the lines=more thoughts... but i love yer "deep thoughts" typage... then i saw Ozzy live. He actually cares about folks who dig ditches and might scrounge to get tickets... or does he? Still musically, i was sent in many directions thanks to this man. And (debatable) am a better Human because of his words. Peace, tim.
I was given this album for Christmas the year it came out. I played it til the tape stretched. That's right, the cassette stretched for those of you who only knew compact disc growing up. I'm now an getting to be an old fart now, but I still Love my occasional Ozzy jams!!! Muahahahahaha! This was my favorite song off this album.
@tf2hat He totally washed his hands of SOTD true, BUT he still does "Killer Of Giants" live on occasion. So he can't hate TUS that much. He did it on his 2010 tour of Europe.
@Xidkwhat2callmyselfX He wasnt as remembered as Randy ( Awesome Solos and Guitar playing and his tragic death) Zack ( Since No More Tears - Blackrain tahts a long time 1995-2007) Jake e Lee was only in a few albums
@tf2hat True. Also, if Ozzfest existed in the late 80's/early 90's, then Jake's band, Badlands, probably would've gotten a bigger push. There's no doubt that Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society got an enormous push because of playing Ozzfest nearly every year since formation.
@DrHackenbush89 Its kinda hard to find anymore, In my Music Store I always see Balck Rain, Scream, and Tribute, I`m buying Just say Ozzy so I just have it before someone else,
@DrHackenbush89 Underrated Albums : No More Tears, Diary of a Madman, No rest for the wicked, Ultimate sin, Blizard of Ozz, Bark at the moon, and I think thats most of them,
@Craftulicous lol, true. TUS would be his most underated...and Jake is virtually forgotten about. After RR, Jake is the shit for Ozzy, no question. I don't care much for Zack and his style, never have, never will.
this was the best period in my life i was only 9 or 10 years old back then on 1986,is when i started listening all these great bands ozzy iron maiden metalica .my startings were on early 83 84 with quiet riot and many more.but this was the period were i could still smell the hairspray when my sister and mom used to get those big hairs.the time when there was a turntable.on the room, the vinyls.the images of those great afternoons.when people used to be happy before the internet.that was the 80s
When I was highschool student, I bought this album the Ultimate Sin. This is my favorite album because the sounds and echo or reverb are brilliant. Long live Ozzy! from Tokyo, Japan.
This song is awesome. It's old scholmetal because it's original and not a lame copy or remake of an old song that seems to be too common amongst so called "artist" who lack true skill. Ask a new artist why his songs sound familiar and he's likely to tell you he was "inspired" by Ozzy or another great legend. Not tomention his all time buddy Randy Roads who was one of the greatest guitarist of all time in my book.
@152369dude Even Metallica has been a bit disappointing lately, but Ozzy still has it!
The only songs I've heard Ozzy cover is "Shock the Monkey" (which he did w/ another band and made very creepy) and"Ironman" which that was one of his songs from back when he was in Black Sabbath anyway so that turned out great.
@PyroGothNerd He played alot of Black Sabbath songs with Randy Rhoads Children Of The Grave Paranoid Ironman ... He also did a cover of John Lennon's , How . And he has a whole cover album: Under Cover # 1. Rocky mountain way # 2. In my life # 3. Mississippi queen # 4. Go now # 5. Woman # 6. 21st chentury schizoid man # 7. All the young dudes # 8. For what it's worth # 9. Good times # 10. Sunshine of your love # 11. Fire # 12. Working class hero # 13. Sympathy for the Devil
everyone thought ozzie was a devil worshipper, but he isn't. what he puts out is a killer good sound. his lyrics are profound. i think ozzie is deep. i like him and black sabbath. rock on ozzie never stop.
OzzY but aside from that , your right , damn that church in Texas that used the lyrics of Crazy Train as the work of the devil . It pisses me , all the fans of Ozzy and Ozzy himself off.
