I'm researching the Satsuma Rebellion as I'm listening to this, and from the lines of "revolution" and "boys and girls are Samurais in their right" it seems like it's related to that event! (Satsuma Rebellion is about Saigo Takamori and his secret military academy trying to over throw the Japanese government.)
