I dint no where you been or shop But i have the largest Airsfot shop In Rhode Island and sell over 60 models of AEG

90% are metal and they all have metal gear boxes as far the the tip once you by it theres no law saying you have to have it on its just a Fed LAW that a store cant sell it with out it being on the gun.

Just a quick note also no gun can be shiped into the US with out the orange tip

If it is and customs sees it you will lose the gun and the money you paid for it.

Don't buy a JG, save up about 100$ more and buy a TM. Trust me, as an owner of past JG's, I greatly regret it, they seem amazing for their price and in reality they break (just with regular use) in a few months. A TM will last you muchhh much longer, you'll get all the trademarks, and you can find a shitload of upgrades for them.

Although TM is great, they are loosing the battle atm. The lack the metal bodies that many people demand and ICS is taking the lead of the three. Many do not hear about ICS, BUT, CA and TM are falling behind. They release very to few little demanding guns and is not meeting the standard of more and more airsofters. Well to me I will always feel comfortable buying a TM; ICS is actually doing very well, you're right, but I'd still stick to buying a TM. Metal bodies are nice for realistic feel and i assume strength but with abs construction its lighter, more scratch resistant (I think) & almost as durable. I own a TM Mp5a4 and P90, both are made pretty much from abs and I havent had any complaints of the quality. i have held a full metal aeg, I think it might have been ICS, but it just felt really weird to me

I'm kind of in between of your opinions. ICS is good and TM is good. Classic Army is too expensive. But from CA you always get what you pay for. Im not an expert of airsoft AEG's cos im more into GBB's so its just IMHO

I love jg because most of their guns' internals can be swapped for Marui ones and straight out of the box for a lower price they will compete with Marui and win usually. Also fairly inexpensive guns for over 400 fps.

That is true. A cheap way to get a good gun for skirmishes. But I like the feel of realistic guns. not that shiny plastic everywhere. Full Metal is my opinion. I just got myself a new ICS colt variant because gas was impossible to use in cold winters of Finland. I love it. If it just had a recoil... But my point is that next time i order something i get a JG and check how far i can go with the performance. However I still don't think i can get used to the shiny plastic of chinese guns.
