You just made yourself look ridiculous infront of all anime fandom, lol. "I want to touch it" refers to the death note. If you touch the death note, you can see death gods. The only way to see and converse with a death god is to touch the notebook made by the death gods, thus its named the "death note." Whoever owns a death note can kill people by simply writing the person's name in the book, what time they should die, and how they want the person to die.
though that is a sufficient, uhh.. explanation.. i think they were more reffering to the episode in which L takes misa's phone from her back pocket. she exclaims, "eek! someone just touched my butt!" while someone else mutters, "i want to touch it!"
i did like your answer, but i think it was more from that episode.
p.s.-- please don't critisize me if they said it when L took the DN from raito instead of when he hugged misa's legs. my computer lacks sound. my apologies if i'm wrong about this~~
they have it every year around the beginning of june. this group of cosplayers will also be seen at Anime Nebraskon this year in Lincoln Nebraska around November, possibly. They were about 80% sure they'd be able to come as the DeathNote group again, and I'll be included as Ryuk with them.
