Now I must say that the other two shows are different to this one but if I have learnt anything from watching too much tv is that the love story is what usually attracts people like me. The thing is that people like to see the main characters happy even though it may cause trouble. Its what makes it fun to watch

The problem with Jisbon is I think that Lisbon feels more like Jane's mother, having to constantly scold him. They are soul mates though- they have each other's weaknesses. Jane would have to show that he can be responcible & when Lisbon stops caring about her job, then maybe. Right now, I don't think she would sacrifice her job for the sake of Jane. Jane is a flirt, but not a player, b/c he's faithful to his wife. Frye was just a test for himself to see if he could move on & I think he failed!

@schokomoerder Well, I think this season is trying to establish how Jane is pulling away from Lisbon & the rest of the team- mostly because I think he's realized that Red John is obsessed w/ him & how he's jealous of anyone Jane has in his life. So, I think he's keeping his distance from Lisbon b/c he geniunely cares about her & he has that fear in the back of his mind that he could lose her too. Lisbon probably feels confused- it was definitely hinted in s2 that she's in love w/ him by Bosco.

@geminivids You're right but you know what I've been thinking the whole time? Jane is so focused on losing Lisbon through Red John that he doesn't realize that he can lose her not only by death but only to another man (Mashburn for example). I would love if the writers explore this.

I think that Jane is so full of self-hatred that he has talked himself into believing that he doesn't deserve happiness or love because of all the pain he's inflicted on others. I think at this time, he'd rather see Lisbon happy without him. The thing is, He seems to have a dependent personality & he needs people to keep him grounded, whether it be his dad, his wife, Sophie,or Lisbon. He needs people to keep him in reality b/c he gets carried away easily.

Jane is paranoid and afraid of betrayal-he could never be w/ anyone that he didn't trust 100%- he trusts Lisbon, so that's a start. Lisbon has trust issues too, & she still doesn't trust Jane, but I think she's starting to-She said she could tell when he's lying & that gives her power to be able to trust that he'll not be able to take advantage of her.

Yeah I think that Lisbon deserved this alright, but I just don't know if Mashburn was the best choice for her or something.., I don't think they're any better pairing than Jane and Frye or, well alright maybe this was more succesful thing cause Frye was just.. -that was not a good idea at all to bring her back, in my opinion anyway. I guess I'm just such a big Jisbon fan that it's hard for me to see them with anybody else ;D But then again, the Jisbon thing shouldn't ofc happen too fast, so. :D

If you payed attention then you'd notice than Mashburn only dated those bimbos because he lost his first true love but since Lisbon is NOTHING like those girls and since Mashburn really seemed to care I really think they could start dating once he was back.
