We should think about the effects of alcohol and marijuana from the social and moral point of view, not political.

I want to point out your idea, that the "innocent" and legal alcohol brings so many casualties and disasters while the "bad" and ilegal marijuana does less then a quoter of those negative results!

The thing with alcohol and marijuana is pretty interesting. Which should be legal and which shouldn't, and why?

Alcohol is legal mainly because its a religion thing ... but people don't know when to stop with it. If we would represent the smoke from marijuana as Jesus's soul and not the wine as his blood ... then we would have marijuana legal and alcohol not!

For example, we have the Rastafari movement who use cannabis (marijuana) as a spiritual and ritual thing.
