  • I want to be 17 against...

  • we were at this gig, it was just the best weekend ever, brixton high street was like a scene from back to the future ha ha

  • What a good vid!

  • Well yeah there is no comparison to Rush - no way Rush could play like this, and probably no way the Cats could play like Rush.

How can you compare neo-rockabilly with Prog?

Which is better? An apple or a Hazlenut?

  • k puedo decir...solo con verlos sobran los comentarios.

  • FN KOOL!!! nuff said...

  • Holy motherfucking crap. Those guys kick much ass with so so so little. I mean think of some group that's totally horrifically lame like Rush. They're both three-piece bands but those Canuck wankers have about 1000 times as much gear.

Did I mention? These guys bring it.

  • yeh exactly. it proves you don't need like a 12 piece drum kit, 3 guitarists, 3 percussionists etc. to be good *cough* heavy metal *cough*

  • whoa whoa whoa whoa!

Foodchain11, yes these guys kick ass, but you cannot comare these guys to rush, rush is apsolutely epic! They have insipred TONS of bands to play music! Not to say these guys havnt, but theres just NO comarison!!!

  • i saw those cats live in stockholm i even had the honor to talk to slim jim out on the street after the show !! he s a cool cat !!

  • damn i love brian's shoes :-)

  • after all these years... "they still HAVE it!!!" *awesome!*

  • Bass drum, snare, 2-cymbals...

    Epic!

  • Epic is the perfect word to describe this.

  • this pisses, shits, and then takes another piss on most of the music around these days! wish i could've seen them =(

  • Damn straight man!!!! It is the BEST!

  • gooooooooood

  • holy shit haha look at the crowd at the end to man. there going insane!!! fuck i wish i was there!!

  • still after all these years there still amazing, still shredding and never gunna get old

  • whats the nameof the drummer?

  • Slim Jim Phantom

  • nothing better than kontra bass and standing drummer.. ofcourse with mr. sezter!

  • What a drummer

  • i'd like to have his gretsch heh

  • we had this song for my dance concert last night !!!! i love this song !!!

  • rock this town! I like this song!!!!

  • rock this town!!! awsome! stray cats rule

  • as my dad always said about 50's music, "that's when you really had to know how to play" Brian is amazing! I think all the so called shredders out their would have a hell of a time trying to play this since it incorporates fingerpicking with strumming and there's very little distortion to fall back on!

  • parrakm i agree with every word you just said.

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!! :-D <3

  • talking about a small drum kit..

  • i find the smaller the drum kit the better the drummer is because he dosent need everything

  • Nice song, great "vintage" style!

  • ozzyfan it aint psychobilly in any way shape or form its ROCKABILLY always will be i would imagine brian and the boys would spit feathers to be compared to that shit seen them 4 times and they put up with the psychobillys and when i seen the cats they take the piss out of them the cats are the closest thing to pure 50,s rockabilly in the world today as they were in the 80,s

  • Awsome.... Check out my short film 'The Beat recorded live at southsea pier for some more great memories.

    Thanks

  • Almost psychobilly this version

  • woow que bien!!

    Tiene un buen ritmo.

  • excelente canciòn y el concierto a pesar de ser de bajo presupuesto fuè muy bueno.

  • better than ever and gettin better as they get older

  • rocking still since my junior school leaving do 1980

  • Excelent video.......

  • Jim must have the world's most puny bass drum, ever.

Saw 'em in Copenhagen, the 30th.

    It was awesome!

  • Saw them in Hamburg yesterday. Sooo much fun and energy. Great music. Simply the best :-)

  • seeing them on the 10th! woop!

  • and me!!

  • Great video!Gotta love Tha Cats.

  • i am! got my tickets today

  • Damn, my band wants to do this song and I play lead! I can play Stray Cat Strut no problem. But this song is going to be a bitc_! Oh well, I guess I need to look at it as another growth opportunity!

  • This Tune Rocks!!!

  • dear lord! i heard this song before but not like this! they are extremely amzing and i have never seen anyone bass a bass aor a drum while standing before damn they good!

  • REMARQUABLE

  • They are beasts. Brian justs shreds. Not all singing guitarists are that good. That is hard stuff.

  • Roll on september in Brixton, gonna be fucking ace

  • that "Triumph" tank is pretty kick ass!

  • Check out his guitar>> it still has both switches on it.. His sig Model has the one switch missing

  • now that's what i call a guitar master! they are so amazing. go brian go!

  • How do you figure that these guys are "washed up?" I've got news for you: This performance rocks BIG time, and as long as there's a market for rockabilly -- these guys will have jobs.

  • thats called Slap Bass dumbass

  • NO shit retard

  • They are all gods! Brian can rip better then anybody, Lee can slap like a motherfucker (im a slap bass player and that shit aint easy) and slim J can kick steadier then any drummer!

  • Jim, the one & only Slim Phantom! Hahaa..

    Rock it boys!

  • These guys are so great!

  • I love this song, and im 17.....we dont care

  • me to and im 15

  • I'm 16^^

  • Dito 16

  • rockabilly rules!

  • Rockabilly forever :)

  • I love Stray Cats..... Nowadays, young people don't care about old music like rock n' roll.

But here we have the main base of our current music.

I love the part when the lyric says: "We're gonna rock til we pop, we're gonna rock til we drop, we're gonna rock this town, rock it inside out" At the end of the chorus.

  • It does seem like an attack on society doesn't it?

  • It might...

It isn't that serious though LOL.

I'm just talking about what I can see. People listening reggaeton only..it crashes me up.

  • what did you say :( I young and i love it!

  • I'm young too and I also love it. I was just talking about a reality.

Maybe there isn't a problem in your country, but in mine..it really is. (Chile).

  • Not even my dad likes them!

  • That's another exception, I guess your family is full of them ahahha =)

    Joke.

    =)

  • I love this song, and I'm 13.

  • Ahahah there're exceptions of course. Im 18 and I Love it too, and I know many more people who also love this music.

But if I see my own society, the most young people don't listen this kind of music, and that's sad because they're refusing the base of the current music.

  • you suck

Brian Setzer is washed up but he's a great guitarist

  • I haven't said the opposite.

In fact, He actually IS a great guitarist and composer too. What the hell did you think I was saying? LOL

  • Really?

    And you are?

Raw talent is what Brain Setzer is... He is true to his art and hasn't changed with trends since he started....

  • ahh, i can barely hear this! needs more volume.

anyway, even quiet you can tell that stray cats quality is still there!

  • VERY GOOD!!!! GREAT!!!

  • yeah im currently exploring psychobilly and im a metal guitar player, its freaking awsome!!

  • im diggin the sudden drop D tuning right in the middle of the song! nice fitting surprise

  • toutes ma jeunesse.extra

  • Is it just me or is the double bass WAAAYYYYY out of tune?

  • it's just you, prick

  • LOL, go back to your outhouse chile-man...

  • I wouldn't say it's "WAAAYYYYY" out of tune, but it is a little sharp. Should have retuned before this song

  • i'd kill to be at that concert man

  • I saw them on this tour in Turku, Finland. Great live act indeed, looking forward to see them again!

  • What the pomade slicked pompadour are you talking about? The Cats have never rocked so hard as they did on this concert!

    They're gods!

  • Hey, who's up for having a Rockapalooza featuring: Stray Cats, The Cramps, Rev. Horton Heat, The Amazing Royal Crowns, Southern Culture On The Skids, The Blasters, and.....?

  • YEA!!!!

  • The Stray Cats were always a great band, I hope Setzer keep with Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phanton and let away the orchestra... The orchestra is not bad obviously, but Stray Cats rocks more and better.

  • man what pure energy long live rock n roll man long live rockabilly

  • Its just 3 guys and they ROCK BIG!!!

  • Just three guys and a snare drum. Amazing.

  • Brain is a god!!! Love you guys much!!!!!!

  • Still going strong.

  • there incredibly sloppy live but there still so fuckin amazing live at the same time

  • Why shouldn' we believe you? In any case we don't loose or win anything in believing or not.

Let's take it as a comentary and by the way...how does yar dad feel when he sees Brian Setzer on stage still rocking?

  • Great stuff.

    Great R'R band

  • check out The Living End if you play the bass

  • Still kicks so much arse!

  • Setzer - DAMN!!!!!!

  • xDD vaia grupo .. jaja

  • I wonder if the Stray Cats realize the appreciation the fans really have for them? They could be a more succesful band if you ask me.

  • hi i agree pure rock a billy and he also had a long horn gretch pure magic

  • For sure !!!!!

  • Brian setzer is one of the greatest rockabilly/rock and roll guitarists of all time.....The man can play anything and when you hear him strum hes got a style which distinguishes him from other players making him unique...Geniuses are few and far between in this type of music so Brian Setzer should be heralded for his devotion to the cause.

  • I agree, Setzer is very underrated. This people is what rock-a-billy should sound like. These "psychobilly" bands need to study this type of footage. I mean, I like psychobilly and all but they need to do stuff like this.

  • What a great band, and Setzer is so underrated.

  • I'M a fucking basses!

  • I love that guys Bass. I looks like a chello or something.

  • thats called an upright bass, there is a difference.

  • i saw them live with zztop thay rock

  • what model is that guitar

  • I think it's a Gibson ES 350, but it's not really important. Setzer could get a tune out of any old guitar, but any old person is not going to make an ES 350 sound like that.

  • Hell no!!!! It is a Gretch

  • It's actually a Gretsch 6120.

  • Chet atkins model

u see it has the horseshoe in between the tuners

  • looks like Setzer's signature nashville to me

  • Chet Atkins?

I beleive it's a Brian Setzer Hotrod Signature Model.

    Lol at gibson!

  • Brian has everything, the look, the voice, and hands down the coolest riffs and songs ta boot. And ironically enough we share the same Birthday, this guy is a ledgend. Hall of Fame inductee, I cast my vote.

  • Guys... buy the DVD.. it wont dissapoint you :) Best live show ever to be recorded...

    Greatest influence ever!

  • excellent

  • the cats were The cats...great stuff!

  • Brian is a great guitarist,great tune!!

  • whoohoo I love the Cats. Thanks.

  • ufkc this is great

  • Simple and the best! That's rock n' roll!!

  • why add a minute and a half of applause at the end?
