I don't know how good the game is... but something to keep in mind is that the Super Sentai series is marketed to a younger audience in Japan than Power Rangers is marketed to in the U.S. I live in Japan. This is the stuff my THREE YEAR OLD loves. He would be happy just smashing the Wiimote merrily while this was running.

However, I wouldn't pay 5000 yen for it... He gets Wii games from the bargain bin. I love him, but like all tiny kids, he loses interest and/or breaks things too fast.

honestly I'd love to see a Power Rangers/Super Sentai Action RPG not unlike Kingdom Hearts or the X-Men Legends franchise where you get to select your team of Rangers across various time periods. X-Men Legends/KH format would work well for PR/Sentai because of the concept of team based action plus the level up/character tree growth system works perfectly per character: Reds are damage/leader types, other Rangers can be healers, defense based, power boosters, melee based, guns based, etc.

@MrPapazap Well when you have that ability to choose your team of Rangers, focus on that team element, and allow the Rangers to grow in power much like they do on television as the series' progressed, but still have that fast-paced action of the shows, Action RPG is really the way to go. Plus it's great for multiplayer.

Sure it was more of a team effort when you multiplayered it, but you made your team based on what they had and what you needed, and each of their abilities were needed to complete missions. PR/Sentai games can do this to if they bother to give a crap. It doesn't have to be Arkham City to be a good game necessarily or a stupid mindless shooter

Or perhaps it's the publisher (in this case, Bandai); if you look back at the developer's resume, they were capable of decent games, such as two hiatus-era (IE: between Rare and Retro Studios) Donkey Kong games and the Klonoa: Door to Phantomile remake (which was published by the other half of Namco Bandai, hardy har har).

Very, very, very, VERY few shows ever make a good video game, same with movies. This is evidence of the amount suck you get from trying to do so. Do the people who make these games ever learn? You make all this hype that you are making a game about a hit show or movie, and then you botch it, it sucks, it doesn't sell well, and you lose all that money you put into making said video game.

This game is seriously such a waste of time. I finished the story mode in about 5 hours, never lost a battle, and was bored all the time. Mecha battles are impossible to lose unless you have goo for a brain. There just isn't much game in this game.
