@vabello The soundtrack for the Blu-Ray was mixed in DTS-HD, and there are some sound effects that were not recorded in the right quality for it to meet DTS's standards, so some of those were omitted where possible to create the highest quality mix possible.

The Dolby Digital mix on the DVD contains all the original sound effects, but the quality is only abour one-fourth of what the Blu-Ray has.

You know what, I gotta admit, I was hesitant at first about buying this on blu-ray, since most of the film's material was filmed in full-screen. I hated the idea of cropping the footage top & bottom, but I gotta admit, this looks great. Sound uality is awesome too.  I won't wait for there to be a U.S. release. I will buy!!
