Then go to your nest and keep spiting at him by the way.

When you are in your nest, you must attack the creature again and your species will help you by attacking.

The creature will not be able to kill you while you and your species are in the nest and get healed.

So you can kill it.

Spore is a game where you start off in a tide pool scavenging for food while you get bigger. when you eventually evolve you start off again as a dumb animal but evolve into a tribal stage, then a civilisation stage like ours and THEN to space stage. in the space stage u need to get to the center of the galaxy. seems easy at first BUT ITS SUPER FUCKING CRAZILY HARD :P

rogues are hard, i had a creature with level 5 bite, charge, and strike, and i had 160 lives = 3 more of my species, and we attacked it, and i was the only one to not get killed i had like 15 lives left he still had 60 so i ran away

Here's an extremely simple way to slaughter an Epic:

1)Have Wings and Spit (preferably both at 5th level and Strike as another attack)

2)Find yourself an Epic!

3)Spit at the Epic, and lure it back to your nest (flying helps for the getaway (Don't worry if your creature gets hungry, this is why:

4)When you arrive at the nest, start attacking the Epic creature. You will more than likely die, but repeatedly press Esc out of the birth scene.

5)Start beating it. Your nest will help shortly.

6)Again, don't worry about hunger. Nor health, becuase as you repeatedly beat on it (tapping the 1-4 keys furiously to automatically attack when the ability recharges), it can do nothing but roar and glare at you.

7)It should be dead after 2-3 minutes. Eat it if your species is carnivorous or omnivorous, it makes you feel proud of killing such a beast. :D

Trust me on this method, I even did it with a noob creature straight from the water with no DNA in the meter and 12 health. Very easy.

By the way, was that TWO Epics I spotted? I think I did at :52... you know since you Spat at the Epic you were downing , you could've lured it towards the other Epic and they would probably fight eachother...

Oh well. I need to find that Phanshada thing. Looks like a floating suit of armor. :D

oh! and to add to what nukills said, killing an epic is easiest when you're an omnivore and have completed the cell stage. that way, you can summon a flock, and that alone should do at least 200 damage to the epic. and don't spend time adding rogues to your pack. it doesn't matter the hp, the epic can always kill it in one shot. and if all else fails, you can hide easily with sneak.

I attacked one with three rogues, an entire flock of creatures! and my spit attacks and guess what happened? everyone in my army died except me when the epic still had over 700 hp. Too bad that wasn't an epic creature. Epics have 1,000 health and are WAY bigger than that one was. Not only that, but killing an epic nets you a badge. This was probably one of the rare 250 health critters. Not an epic.

250 health critters aren't that large, it was an epic, he had been fighting it longer before he recorded it, and he didn't get a badge because he had already killed one before or he could have cheated.

to fly you need jump power and fly power just keep pressing the jump button when you have wings on... and the wings will flap but the flapping does wear out so you have too touch the ground again and then jump off the ground and keep flapping! :)

I don't think that's an epic, epic's are much larger. Looks like a really large creature..IDK. Good job I took a whole 3 pack of my creatures to attack it and we still lost, even with the summon help ability - about 4 of my creatures (myself included) + some nearby friends (2) + summon help ability (2) - so 8 creatures ganging up on this 1 large spikey spider-like creature, and we all lost.

I was wondering the same thing. It looked to me like one of the rougue creatures that have 250 life. I can kill those with my pack in about a minute. But it might just be that he was keeping enough distance that we could not tell just how big it really was too...
