  • Nice video !Could you tell me the size of your front wheels? I want them for my drx but I need to know the diameter, wide and hex.

    Thanks

  • @Corsair1313

Hi :) The wheels are 2.2inch with 12mm hex, I think they are 30mm front and 35mm rear for width.

  • can you give me a website for upgrades i have the mavrick strada evo s

  • @madmansk8118

Sure.. Try rcmodscars.co.uk and go to the HSP Spares section and click on the XSTR buggy...alloy starts on page 3 I think of the spares.

    Excellent service form here.

  • Hi there you say your using the shocks from a blast is that the front or rear or was it a set because the shocks on the strada are the same lengh both ends are they not just interested as i'm thinking of getting one lets us know thanks

  • @Mydoddy69 I was using Blast shocks front and rear. On the front though I used some slightly longer lower Piston Ends on the shocks and mounted the shocks to give the best result. I've re-built the Blast now so I'm using some new Teflon coated Traxxas Ultra shocks on the Evo, they are excellent also.

  • how fast ?

  • @nash211278 This brushed version now that I've got it set a bit better can easy do 20mph on the flat. fast enough for fun :D and good for club racing. I'll have some carbon Fiber parts on it soon :)

  • @RCBuggyBash thanks and how fast is the maverick atom xb

  • @nash211278

The Atom as it's name states, Nuclear fast :)... very quick car. The re-branded HPI version (the Recon Mini) looks amazing... The new shocks, battery tray and new plastics will make this a very cool car both for racing and bashing :D

I don't have a speed gun but I'd quite happily say I get 20mph+ out of my Atom. I WILL be upgrading to the new Recon parts... I'll possibly upgrade the entire car... :D

    RC

  • After shooting this vid I replaced the blown motor and changed the pinion gearing to a better setting and the performance increased by about another 30%... much quicker. And it's running a lot cooler now... Some user error I think was at fault for the blowout :D
