@jackassNJ2 It's all about practice and getting your stuff down bro,stamina and endurance is built trough time. You can practice different blasts with different tempos to get familiar with them,as well control the bounce of the stick.Set the metronome at 140 until you can hold your blast for 30 secs or a minute for each tempo.Fingers are used in high tempos,250 bpm's and up,i play with alot of wrists for power,but it's better for you to build stamina and endurance to be comfortable within time.

Yeah, you need to stretch your fingers and wrists very well to not have any pains or spasm in your muscles, if you haven`t check the video of Flo Mounier (Extreme Drumming 101) he shows alot of stretching exercises that are very helpfull, i have tried them myself and it`s a HUGE diference, you can play relaxed and comfortable at all times. The secret of the flying finger technique is in the rebound of the stick as well your grip has to be relaxed and let the fingers do the job.
@jackassNJ2 I checked your videos and you have a good technique in rolls and blasts, the only pointer i can give you is that you need to try to keep the stick centered in the drum head, make sure that you create a angle that allows you to play comfortable and consistent even at high tempos, other than that the rest will come by it`s own with practice, get your metronome and start blasting!
Your face while playing it is nothing like John's. lol, still VERY good cover, but HOW THE HELL DOES JOHN MAKE IT LOOK EASY! he just sits there all calm and no tension but watch covers and peoples faces are like OMG! I WANNA DIE!

@caveman15100 Yeah I did use triggers here, but I had a small AMP when I recorded the cover, the power wasn't very high so unfortunately the triggers sound very low and when I mixed the tracks I didn't divide the channels so the music can be heard on one side and the drums on the other, there's some covers I have to re-do to correct that problem, I have a much bigger and powerfull PA now, have you listened to this with headphones or through speakers?
