how many litres is that tank? i got a 21 litre and i wantr this same kind of setup after seeing this but im not sure if it will work. i will probably only get a pair of them, but even so, is this possible?

Yup, 5.5 gallons. The substrate is just washed, play-sand.

I just started a shell dweller tank I have it set up and all with shells and crushed coral substrate. I also read online that crushed coral can harm the shell dwellers is this true?

The only reason people say that is due to the fact that shelldwellers excavate (dig into) substrate regularly. Sometimes crushed coral can scrape or cut the fish, but I would say it is probably fine.

Well first of all, I really don't care. It is completely personal preference. Secondly, why the hell are you posting this question on my overview of my fishtank and not the video concerning the DS lite. For what it's worth, I would get the black.

hey love the tank! im starting my own shell dweller tank too too (2ft). I do have one question, what media do you use for the filter? bio or any chemi?

Thank you! That's sounds awesome! The filter I use benefits from all three types (mechanical, bio, and chem). Mechanical just being that the water is moving through the pump and out the other side, Bio: there is a little mesh that good bacterium stick to that the water passes through before entering the tank, Chem: the carbon filter bag

Yes, I have a 20Gallon freshwater tropical community tank as well (that one is at home though).
